Hi Paul,
It’s probably best to hit up [support@flowplayer.org] about the watermarking concern.
Just be sure that the domain that you specified when you purchased the license is used in the OBJECT tag when embedding [http://flash.flowplayer.org/demos/installation/alternate/index.html#object]
But of course when using the Lightbox plugin you just have to enter the correct key. Be sure you have the latest version of the plugin as well. Here are the steps (https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/removing-flowplayer-logo)
KeithMemberHi zefebee, What version of the plugin are you using?
Can you please be more specific about when you say that the comments do not work? How do you mean? Any error messages? What are you trying to do? What are you expecting to see?
Can you provide a link?
Also… I just wanted to point out that I use WP eStore and it works flawlessly with the latest OptimizePress. I had one problem where the AJAX squeeze page shortocde not working in the editore, but other than that I have had no issues.
I use the Live Editor to create product pages and use various shortcodes to create the product listings. I made certain that shortcodes could be used within certain modules of the Live Editor before buying. That’s all the info I really needed to know that WP eStore would work with it.
September 22, 2013 at 7:24 pm in reply to: Different download protection for different security levels #57870KeithMemberHello, You can protect specific folders (see here: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/emember-protect-media-content-on-protected-page) and the files within it. Once a file is protected by using the download folder protection, you don’t need to apply a level specific protection. You just control which membership level can see the download link on the page that you put it on. For example, if you have a page where you want to have download links for gold members, then you simply need to protect that page for gold membership level. The members of other user’s won’t be able to see the content of the page.
You can also create a download button on a page that only specific levels can see. Otherwise is could say “upgrade” instead of download. You can also choose which file to be downloaded “on-the-fly” based on the subscription level.
You probably also want to prevent crawling and indexing of the folder. See here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/how-to-control-access-of-the-web-crawlers-or-web-robots-to-your-site-166
Hope that helps.
September 22, 2013 at 7:15 pm in reply to: wp lightbox – upgrade has broken the display of the video page #57887KeithMemberHi Paul,
To eliminate the theme (and any of it’s css, java, etc.) ad the issue, can you try previewing that page in the theme switcher?
KeithMemberHi there,
What I ended up doing was putting in dummy data for:
Google Product Category, Brand, GTIN, and MPN
within the Google Base XML Feed Generation page.
Then, when WP eStore generated the file, I opened the XML file, copied out the text and applied unique values for each.
You can also try replacing <g:google_product_category> with <g:product_type>.
Then I uploaded the file.
Not the best answer but does provide a workaround for the time being.
Hope it helps!
September 18, 2013 at 8:16 am in reply to: eStore & Simple WP Shopping Cart Different PayPal Accounts #57796KeithMemberMy guess would be that both the plugins would not be able to work together side by side, for the very reason that you are stating. WP eStore is essentially the premium version of Simple WP Shopping Cart. I could be wrong of course. Someone else may chime in and provide a more concrete answer.
What I was going to suggest though…
In WP eStore, if you use Buy Now or other buttons (all but Add To Cart) you could actually attach specific products to unique PayPal email addresses. That may be a viable workaround rather than using both?
Hope that helps!
KeithMemberHi Mark, it seems only one file can be used for each variation, so combining the two files into one zip may be appropriate.
Then you’ll have two zips… one with just File A, and the other zip with File A and File B.
Is that reasonable?
KeithMemberHi, Can you please load a fresh new copy of the plugin first?
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
Then enable debug by checking the enable debug field in the settings menu of the affiliate plugin so you can provide us some log data when we ask for it?
Wait for one affiliate referred transaction to occur after you enable debug then share the debug file content so we can check it.
KeithMemberHi Pamela,
Until Ruhul replies I wanted to point out that you are already doing more than most people. But of course, that doesn’t mean there isn’t more that could be done.
In general, for all my sites I:
1) Let me host do daily backups of all site files (which contains config and user files from the media library, etc.)
2) Use a plugin to compress and email me my database (which contains content and settings)
Also, when I was less comfortable, I would download individual files by FTP (for themes and plugins) before modifying them to be sure my recent change didn’t cause any grief.
Other than the immediate backups for files that I was currently changing I felt comfortable getting daily database backups safely in my inbox, plus daily backups on the server for all files (with the ability to go back up to a month if I wanted).
Hope that helps.
KeithMemberHi Robert,
Someone else may have a better solution, but there is a Dynamic Coupon Addon for WP eStore that may provide as a good starting point for what you are trying to accomplish.
It’s available here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-dynamic-couponsdiscounts-addon-2220
Obviously you’ll need some PHP skills but I thought it a good starting point until a better solution arrives (or in case one doesn’t).
KeithMemberYes, using “auto-discounts” would be the way.
Problem is that you would have to apply just one coupon to ALL products.
The way that could be accomplished is putting all products in the same category, and give them all the same amount of discount, probably based on percentage.
Your discounts though are between 8% and 15% (if my Math is correct) so that won’t work here.
Unless you are willing to offer a standard discount, I will have to refer to my colleagues for an answer.
KeithMemberHi Gordon,
Looking at the source code, I can see that the AJAX form is in fact being used. Perhaps it looks like it isn’t because the button is different than in the example?
You can specify what button is used… if that’s the case, go to the product in question, go to Additional Product Details (Click to Expand), then put the path to a button image that you want to use.
As for the emails not being received, it could be that your host is blocking emails from the simple PHP mail script that comes with the plugin.
To change it to use the WP email system:
1) Go to the “General Settings” area of WP eStore.
2) Scroll down to “Email Settings.”
3) Put a checkmark in: “Use WordPress Mailing System.”
4) Click the “Update Options” button at the bottom of the page.
Let me know if that helps.
KeithMemberHi Gordon,
Your shortcode looks correct, but I tried to look at the page that you provided but I received a 404.
In regards to your question:
“And do I need Aweber or Mailchimp in order for this to work?”
This feature stores the name and email in the customer database, so therefore, a third party integration is NOT needed. However, if you want to additionally signup the users to your AWeber or MailChimp list, you can do that too by enabling the option in the plugin settings.
You can find more information about this feature here:
but I would still like to help you with the AJAX issue. Please reply back when the page is back online.
Talk soon,
Keith
p.s. I’m sure you already know this, but an indicator that the AJAX form is in use is when the page doesn’t refresh after clicking the submit button. i.e. It processes without a refresh.
Also, you may only have one AJAX form per page.

April 14, 2012 at 9:15 pm in reply to: eStore – want to keep cart contents unless successful transaction #44035KeithMemberare there any strange implications to just commenting out all the commands in the reset_eStore_cart function? besides the obvious that the cart always remains intact.. for this project I’m OK with that… please let me know! thanks
