Hi,
following situation:
I am running a woocommerce site in combination with your affiliate tool.
I set up 2 test accounts and made several test purchases. Doing this, we discovered, that all sales are ascribed to one affiliate account, no matter which link they are comming in.
Observing the behaviour for several days, I noticed, that even purchases form independent traffic sources e.g. Google Adword are also ascribed to the same affiliate account.
Clicks are tracked on both accounts. Refund is working as well.
Any suggestions to solve the issue?
Thanks in advance…
June 11, 2013 at 12:38 am #56036KeithMemberHi, Can you please load a fresh new copy of the plugin first?
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
Then enable debug by checking the enable debug field in the settings menu of the affiliate plugin so you can provide us some log data when we ask for it?
Wait for one affiliate referred transaction to occur after you enable debug then share the debug file content so we can check it.
June 13, 2013 at 9:40 pm #56037stemplMemberHi Keith,
did the reinstallation.
There is still strange behaviour. Some transactions are tracked correct. Others are still wrong.
For example, following transaction was definitely not created over a affiliate link:
[06/13/2013 5:06 PM] – SUCCESS :WooCommerce Affiliate integration – Order processed… checking if affiliate commission need to be awarded.
[06/13/2013 5:06 PM] – SUCCESS :WooCommerce Affiliate integration – Order status: completed
[06/13/2013 5:06 PM] – SUCCESS :Commission tracking debug data from the WooCommerce plugin:test4|25.8|giuxxxxxx@yahoo.de|2975|
[06/13/2013 5:06 PM] – SUCCESS :wp_aff_award_commission_unique() – Txn ID: 2975
[06/13/2013 5:06 PM] – SUCCESS :Calling process commission function.
[06/13/2013 5:06 PM] – SUCCESS :Referrer: test4, Sale Amount: 25.8, Transaction ID: 2975, Item ID: , Buyer Email: gxxxxxxx@yahoo.de, Custom Commission Rate:
[06/13/2013 5:06 PM] – SUCCESS :The sale has been registered in the WP Affiliate Platform Database for referrer: test4 with amount: 5.16
[06/13/2013 5:06 PM] – SUCCESS :Commission notification email sent to affiliate. Email address: thomaxxxxxx@gmx-topmail.de
Whereas other transaction which we made for test purpose are not tracked as affiliate sale.
Any suggestions?
We have following plugins installed which work with woo:
Social Coupon for WooCommerce
WooCommerce – Sofort Gateway Integration
WooCommerce CSV Export
WooCommerce Deutsch (de_DE)
Anythins suspicious from your experience?
Thx
June 14, 2013 at 5:04 am #56038adminKeymasterAs far as I can see, the commission tracking worked correctly for the sale you shared above. Commission tracking will fail if the visitor didn’t click the affiliate link correctly before making the purchase. So please do another test and share the debug data for a transaction where it is didn’t track as expected. That way I will be able to see what was missing in that test.
June 14, 2013 at 6:08 am #56039stemplMemberThat’s the problem. The sale above was NOT made by an affiliate link!
Other sales, which are comming through an affiliate link, are not tracked.
June 14, 2013 at 11:30 pm #56040adminKeymasterThat is very strange. Are you using standard payment gateways (example: PayPal) or are you using a manual checkout type system on your site (meaning you are accepting the money manually and approving it later)? I have sent you an email to get access to your site so I can look at the setup.
