Hi Alan, PayPal usually takes the customer to the language they have specified in there settings. When I go to your page and check out, I get the US PayPal site (I have specified this as I am in Australia). If the customer is not a PayPal member then it should give them the US PayPal by default. Try clearing your Cookies and see if it redirect you to the proper page.
Let me know how it goes.

IvyMemberHi, It sounds like you are using the Simple Shopping Cart and not the eStore. The simple shopping cart only has a setting menu under the main WordPress settings. Did you purchase the eStore plugin? Please let me know and I will look into this some more if this is not the case.

Ivy
IvyMemberHi Valerie, It looks like you are using the same % for all your products. You can specify a global commission rate in the settings menu of the affiliate platform this is under “Commission Settings”. You only need to specify the per product commission when you want to offer a different commission for an item. For example: Your global commission is 25% but you are running a special offer on product A and want to make the commission 35% then you can specify this in the product details of the eStore.
Please let me know if this is not what you are looking for.

IvyMemberHi, This option is not available in the simple shopping cart. This is however available in the eStore plugin in. You can read more about it here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/how-to-use-variation-control-in-wordpress-estore-plugin-345
You can do variation control with the simple shopping cart but it will not have a price variant.
Let me know if you need anything else.

May 8, 2010 at 12:55 am in reply to: State Specific Sales Tax code for WP Paypal Shopping Cart #20405IvyMemberHi, There is no way to add the sales tax in the cart before it goes to PayPal. This is because this function is handled by PayPal. PayPal adds the sales tax after the customer has left the site and landed on PayPal’s site. What about adding a line of text that says something like: You will be charges 8.5% (whatever the tax rate is) if you live in (whatever state).

IvyMemberHi Glen, The fist failure means the funds have not cleared. This usually happens when payment review is turned on in your Sandbox account.
The second one failed because the funds did not clear. Once one step of the validation fails the plugin stop and no product is sent out.
Try doing a live test with a test product and the debug turned on. You can make this a .01 product for testing purposes.
Regarding the second questions did you install the add-on for the shortcodes? You can find the add-on here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-shortcodes-and-functions-reference-460
