    Hi there

Not sure what I’m doing wrong. I installed the eStore plugin, and have had no issues adding products and so on. I can get as far as the checkout page, and then whether I select Paypal or Manual payment, the result is the same – a blank page that has the url:

    http://millionminutesproject.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/eStore_payment_submission.php

    The website address is http://millionminutesproject.com/

It’s a simple setup, only one digital product, and I have gone through the settings again and again to see whether I’ve left something out, but I can’t spot it. I chose Paypal and Manual as payment options.

Any idea what I might be doing wrong here?

    Thanks!

    Pia

I’m having a similar issue – i set up WP estore no problems – configuring products and installation are working fine. Paypal is great but the files are not getting delivered – there is no followup email and the links are not showing up on paypal after purchase.

sample webpage of items for sale: http://pianohq.com/?page_id=158

Question #2: on that page, i have sheet music for sale. I would like to put the audio sample inside the box of each item for sale but don’t know if that’s possible (rather than have them listed separately at the top)

    Regards

    Glen

@Glenb, The best way to address this is to run a transaction with debug enabled. This link will explain what to do:

How and When to Enable Debug and What does it do?

If you are using a Audio Player plugin that uses proper WordPress Shortcode API then you can place the shortcode in the “Description” field of the product and use the fancy display (it will place the sample in the middle). Let me know which plugin you are using and I will take a look.

Thankyou so much for your quick reply. Your service is FANTASTIC! So i checked my ipn log and it has 2 failures:

FAILURE :The Fund have not been cleared yet. Product will be delivered when the fund clears!

    FAILURE :IPN product validation failed.

So translated what does this mean? I’m using sandbox to test this. Would that have any bearing on funds ‘clearing’ if it’s a fake account. And validation? what is involved with that?

re: my second question – i tried putting the code in the description field (for the audio) and the code just showed up as text. I’m using WPaudio plugin for that.

    Thanks again.

Hi Glen, The fist failure means the funds have not cleared. This usually happens when payment review is turned on in your Sandbox account.

The second one failed because the funds did not clear. Once one step of the validation fails the plugin stop and no product is sent out.

Try doing a live test with a test product and the debug turned on. You can make this a .01 product for testing purposes.

Regarding the second questions did you install the add-on for the shortcodes? You can find the add-on here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-shortcodes-and-functions-reference-460

    Cheers,

Hi. I tried to do a live test but paypal came back with an error saying that i couldn’t process this because i was both the buyer and seller. A paypal tech did say that sandbox wouldn’t work because i was using a virtual buyer with a real seller. He said i needed to test this with both a virtual buyer and virtual seller. So i set up a virtual seller and tried again – same errors. According to their transaction log though, everything got went through as per normal and that the error was somehow on the side of the plugin. Is there something i could possibly be missing on my setup of wp estore?

    Regards

    Glen

Was it your intention to use the PayPal “sandbox” for a test transaction? And if so, did you setup a sandbox account per these directions?: https://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/ebook/PP_Sandbox_UserGuide/access.html

It’s telling you what the error is right here:

FAILURE :Invalid Seller Paypal Email Address : seller@paypalsandbox.com

I am pretty sure you have the following field checked in the settings menu of eStore:

Use Strict PayPal Email Address Checking

Did you read the help text for that field? Is “seller@paypalsandbox.com” your paypal email address?

Thanks for the quick response. I see what you mean.

    In answer to your points:

    1) ‘Use Strict PayPal Email Address Checking’ is not checked (Screenshot: http://robotdwarf.com/paymentsetting.jpg)

    2) seller@paypalsandbox.com is not my email, had it been the correct sandbox email, the transaction probably would’ve succeeded.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter if I use sandbox or my live paypal account, as it always redirects to a blank page after checkout (Screenshot:http://robotdwarf.com/checkoutscreen.jpg)

The only reason I managed to get any output in the IPN file was because I followed your troubleshooting steps.

    Thanks,

    John
