Empty download

Hi,

i’ve just purchased and set up your product. I’ve tried a test transaction with a friend, but the generated encrypted link download a 0Kb file. I double checked the paths and all seems fine. Searching on this forum I read that the download system is very dependant on the hosting provider. I’m on 1and1.com. Please send me a fix for this.

Hi Luca, Can you please tell me what version of the plugin you are using and if IE was being used for the download?

Hi Ivy,

i’ve bought the plugin yesterday, so I suppose is the latest version available. I’ve ran a test under latest version of Firefox, without any download manager.

ok… new problem. now seems that the script can’t manage big files. I’m trying to download a 400Mb file and I get an out of memory error. I already check your faq, but I cannot share my download location and, since i’m on a shared host, I can’t raise php memory limit. there’s any workaround for this?

Hey there – I thought the last version I received resolved this problem, but I still get 0KB downloads I’ve also gone ahead and deleted the .htaccess and .htpasswd files from the downloads folder of the estore plugin but to no avail. Any chance you can help? Thank you!!

Hey Ivy – I followed all the steps mentioned above but still have the same 0KB problem. Another bug that came up is that my members aren’t redirected to my redirection page after they log in. I don’t have any link set up for the general Membership Level redirect (Redirect After Login), so that it would default to link I entered in the Pages Settings. I cleared out all my caches, tried different browsers, but it just won’t redirect to the link I entered in the After Login Page.
