Got it. Thanks!
February 20, 2014 at 12:13 am in reply to: WP eMember – Downgrade Member Level From Premium To Free? #48932GraphicBassMemberI have the same scenario that will eventually occur with our new membership site. Will this add-on script work with Authorize.net when a subscription payment fails?
February 19, 2014 at 3:26 pm in reply to: Does "Inactive" status completely turn off member access? #60939GraphicBassMemberOK, thanks!
GraphicBassMemberThanks!
GraphicBassMemberI think you may have answered my question.
The current settings (typical) are:
Trial: $97.00 for 1 month
Recurring Billing Amount: $19.97
Recurring Billing Cycle: 1 month
Recurring Billing Count: 11
So, if I understand correctly, the Recurring Billing Count should be empty, and the subscription will simply continue until cancelled (or the card goes bad)? In other words: the $19.97 is billed each month forever?
Thanks,
gary
February 12, 2014 at 2:03 pm in reply to: Can a member directly log into Auithorize.net to change a credit card number #60774GraphicBassMemberOK, thanks for the reply. I’ll keep an eye out if (maybe) an update function is added to @P eStore.

February 10, 2014 at 10:15 pm in reply to: Can a member directly log into Auithorize.net to change a credit card number #60772GraphicBassMemberThanks for the links wzp/ I missed that when looking Authorize.net. Seems you’re right.
A follow-up: how does Amazon.com and other sites (including WooCommerce sites) handle these type of updates? And if I commission a custom add-on can that handle that with WP eStore?
My partner is pressing me for answers to this issue of updating with a new card number,, and it’s hard to find good information.
Thanks.

February 7, 2014 at 12:55 am in reply to: ARB Subscription Trial Payment with a very small amount #60689GraphicBassMemberThat”swhat I thought. Thanks!
GraphicBassMemberThanks for the detailed answer. It helps a lot.
Sounds like Option 1 may be the one for me to use, as I do have the “start date” data die each member.

GraphicBassMemberAnother question, please…
I have the subscription start date of current subscribers in the proper field.
Does WP eMember send the “renewal” email to expiring subscribers based on their start date, or do I need to enter the expiration date in one of the two expiry fields?
If there is online documentation for all this, I’ll be happy to look there before asking if you can point me to the right URL.
gary
GraphicBassMemberThat’s what I was afraid of. OK.
If we don’t cancel the current agreements, will they continue to run, and we’ll just “renew” them (actually, institute a new agreement) when the old runs out?
Just trying to understand so I can explain to a non-technical client.
Thanks.
GraphicBassMemberThanks for the reply. I’lll re-read the referenced posts and see if they shed some light on what I’m trying to do, which may not be possible, I admin. I’ll post my results.

GraphicBassMemberThanks for the reply.
Can you offer an opinion of why would my client be getting these notices? Is t his something programmed by the previous developer of his existing site to generate from some type of ARB response, if not an email notice?
I can send a redacted copy of the emails privately if you think that will help.
Of course, I could just install the add-on and hope that however it’s working, it will continue to do so. (Right…wishful t inking)_.
Thanks

GraphicBassMemberThanks for the reply, although this method won’t quite work for what I want to do.
