Tthe online documentation for the WP Payment Gateway Bundle states:
““Reattempt on failure” option is not applicable for Authorize.not ARB since it doesn’t send any notification when the subscription is rebilled or a payment fails.”
However, my client tells me he is, in fact, getting failure notices (“Failed”, “Suspended”, “Terminated”, etc., and sent me four different examples, all originating from his ARB account. He says he’s received those notices for the last year.
Is there a new version of the bundle that takes this into account? I’m hoping the documentation is simply out of date, but wanted to
check before I purchase the bundle.
Thanks!

Hi, I just checked their documentation (It hasn’t been updated since April 2013):
http://developer.authorize.net/api/arb/
They still don’t offer a better notification option.
Thanks for the reply.
Can you offer an opinion of why would my client be getting these notices? Is t his something programmed by the previous developer of his existing site to generate from some type of ARB response, if not an email notice?
I can send a redacted copy of the emails privately if you think that will help.
Of course, I could just install the add-on and hope that however it’s working, it will continue to do so. (Right…wishful t inking)_.
Thanks

I think it’s better if we take a look at the ARB reponse. I have sent an email to you registered email address. Let me know if you don’t receive it.
