I’m finding that members I imported from another database who are marked ( in that database) as “inactive” are not able to log in and renew memberships, even though I have “Allow Expired Account login:” button clicked in settings. I did not change the setting upon import.
Does selecting “Inactive” in a member’s status completely turn off access? (So I should switch them to “Expired” or “Pending:?)

Hi, Please set the status of the members to “Expired”.
If you login using the expired member’s credentials and try to access protected content you should see a renewal notice.
