I’ve got Authorize.net ARB working properly, but my partner wants a longer subscription term than 12 months.
I’ve read and re-read the docs and pointed out the limitations. He insists that he was able to set “no expiry” or different subscription lengths with Authorize.net ABR when the site was done by the previous developer.
Is the term limit something that is native to WP eStore or can it be overcome to set a “never-expiring membership”?
Guidance appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi Gary, You are thinking it wrong. With a subscription you have to understand the concept of subscription/billing cycle.
The cycle is used in conjunction with the number of billing to create an ongoing subscription.
If you keep the “Recurring Billing Count” empty then the subscription amount will be charged until the customer decides to cancel it.
So what is your subscription cycle value?
I think you may have answered my question.
The current settings (typical) are:
Trial: $97.00 for 1 month
Recurring Billing Amount: $19.97
Recurring Billing Cycle: 1 month
Recurring Billing Count: 11
So, if I understand correctly, the Recurring Billing Count should be empty, and the subscription will simply continue until cancelled (or the card goes bad)? In other words: the $19.97 is billed each month forever?
Thanks,
gary
Yes that is correct.
Thanks!
