ModeratorHow did you pay for it? The PayPal, etc., email should be sufficient.

ModeratorMaybe you could use some kind of plugin to block The IP addresses from certain countries from the sales page?

Moderator“…you can’t block shipping to a particular country however for the ones you don’t intend to ship to, make the ranges so high that it will discourage anyone from attempting to place an order.”

ModeratorYou design your checkout page, to include any upsells. You specify the URL of the checkout page in the General Settings. When users click Add To Cart, they get sent to checkout page; where you tell eStore to display current cart contents, and any upsell messages. They either click the checkout button, continue shopping or add one of the upsell items that you placed on the checkout page.

ModeratorPerhaps you might consider the plugin installation & testing service.

ModeratorDid you follow *these* installation instructions, or did you do something “different?”

The most common “oops” is using the built-in WordPress plugin installer to upload the files.

ModeratorSounds like they are saying the timeout occurs because either the buyer’s system or Internet connection is below par.
Technically, they are correct. The timeout we are specifically talking about is the HTTP request timeout. If the entire download doesn’t complete in a certain amount of time, the server kills the script. Because every buyer has a different system/connection situation, there is no way (from GoDaddy’s standpoint) that they can ensure a timeout value that will meet every situation, without defeating the purpose of having the HTTP request timeout value. It’s a (GoDaddy server) business decision; because when you use virtual, shared or grid hosting, you can’t change this timeout value without affecting all sites that use the same physical boxes. With dedicated servers, you don’t have this issue.

ModeratorYou have version 5.6.6 or higher of eStore?

ModeratorAPR will only protect pages that are served up by WordPress, because the APR short code requires WordPress and WP eStore, to work. You can however, create your page within WordPress if you can embedded the player in a WordPress page inside the APR short code.
You would set the Encrypted link expiration to 72 hours with the link limit at 3. You would then use the [WP_eStore_APR expiry=0 status=unexpired] version of the APR short code.
If you use Lightbox Ultimate, you could have the videos hosted on Amazon S3, so that the actual video sources can be protected.
