Hi,
Read the followoing on the website and would like to use these techniques”
======================
1. Place Offers on the Checkout Page
There are many places on your website where you can upsell. The most common would be the view cart/checkout page. Visitors who come to your checkout page are potential buyers and most likely have the credit card ready. So it is a lot easier to upsell them something relevant as it will most likely benefit them.
You can also introduce an upsell page that the customers have to pass before they can go to the “Checkout Page”.
======================
1 – Can you please tell me where I would find instructions for adding an upsell product to the view/checkout page.
2 – And also where to find instructions for adding an upsell page that the customers have to pass before they can go to the “Checkout Page”?
Many Thanks

I am looking to do what is described in option #1 here:
Is there an instruction page or video in the documentation for this?
Many thanks.
July 31, 2011 at 10:02 pm #34961wzpModeratorYou design your checkout page, to include any upsells. You specify the URL of the checkout page in the General Settings. When users click Add To Cart, they get sent to checkout page; where you tell eStore to display current cart contents, and any upsell messages. They either click the checkout button, continue shopping or add one of the upsell items that you placed on the checkout page.

1 – When you say design your checkout page, is this a page in the blog or a separate page?
2 – How do you tell estore to display current cart contents and upsell messages?
3 – Are the checkout and continue shopping buttons automatically added or do I need to add those manually? (and how)
Thanks

May 21, 2013 at 4:42 pm #34964theholisticmamaMemberQuestion, if you added upsells to the checkout page, wouldn’t it be the same upsell for every product? I sell a wide variety of products, digital, physical, services. I would like to customize the upsell depending on what the person is buying. I wouldn’t make sense to upsell everyone on the same thing. How would I do this?
