Hello,
When a user pays for a membership subscription via Stripe and receives the confirmation email to register, when they try to register, the error “Captcha verification failed. Go back and try again” is displayed. When you press back, another error is displayed “Error! The Unique code you used in the URL has already been used or is invalid”.
Then the confirmation email that you have been registered is received, despite the error.
When you try to log in, if you enter an incorrect password or username, there is no error popup.
I have disabled plugins and captcha etc but the error persists. The “Display a Password Visibility Icon” also does not seem to be working. The page builder is Elementor.
Thank you
April 24, 2023 at 4:21 pm #84895wzpModeratorAre you using any page caching plugins or server modules? There are only 2 “officially supported” caching plugins:
WP Super Cache:
W3 Total Cache:April 25, 2023 at 4:04 am #84896I am using WP Super Cache:
And I followed those guidelines when I installed the plugin, thank you, any other suggestions?
April 25, 2023 at 6:02 pm #84897wzpModeratorHave you personally seen the problem, or is this the description of an issue one of your users is having; but you have not witnessed yourself?
Also, please turn on your debug logs.
April 26, 2023 at 9:03 am #84898I am new to your plugin and it has been 1 week now since I purchased it. I am waiting to launch my site but cannot until this issue is resolved.
The error occurs every time I register as a new user (using a new email address etc). The subscription is paid for (I purchased the additional stripe subscription plugin), the stripe email is received, and the invite to register email.
I click on the link, enter the details and submit it. Then the above captcha error message displays, when you press back, you get the error “Error! The Unique code you used in the URL has already been used or is invalid”. Then you receive an email that your registration is complete. leaving you confused as to what happened.
Three other testers also experience the same issue.
Thank you
April 26, 2023 at 2:07 pm #84899wzpModeratorPlease turn on the debug logs. Recreate the error condition and then check the resulting logs; and post them if you want us to review them.
Also, are you using a “real” hosting provider, or are you doing testing on a localhost server?

Our installed base numbers in the hundreds of thousands, over the last 15+ years. I am confident we can resolve your issue; but you need to provide us with the requested debug information.

April 27, 2023 at 1:29 pm #84903When I disable the captcha everything works fine.
I recreated the captcha keys for both WP eMember and the Stripe subscription plugins (it was weird because the stripe captcha was working fine).
I had ticked Enable Auto Login After Registration: and it was this setting that created the conflict for some reason. Once I unticked this it worked.
