All of our premium plugins (WP eStore, WP Affiliate, WP eMember, Photo Seller, Lightbox Ultimate, PDF Stamper, Link Manager) are designed to work with the W3 Total Cache plugin.
Integration Steps for W3 Total Cache Plugin
Step 1) Go to the “Page Cache” menu in your W3 Total Cache plugin.
Step 2) Add the following 3 lines in the “Rejected Cookies” field under the “Page Cache” settings menu of the W3 Total Cache plugin and all done:
ap_id
cart_in_use
eMember_in_useHaving Trouble Finding the Page Cache Menu?
The following screenshot will show you where the rejected cookies field is:
W3 Total Cache -> Page Cache -> Scroll down to the "Advanced" Section -> Rejected Cookies
Alternatively, search for the “Rejected cookies” text in the “Page Cache” menu and it will take you to the “Rejected cookies” field.
Tip 1: If you are using the “Browser Cache” settings then keep the “Enable HTTP (gzip) compression” field unchecked for the HTML section in the “Browser Cache” page of W3 Total Cache Plugin. On some servers enabling the HTTP (gzip) compression in the HTML section can cause corrupted encrypted download files.
Tip 2: Try not to use the “Object Caching” as it can sometimes have a negative effect on your site in general if you use it with the standard “Disk” method. Remember, Object Caching is not enabled by default when you activate the total cache plugin.
Integration Steps for WP Super Cache Plugin
If you are using the WP Super Cache plugin instead of the W3 Total Cache plugin then please use the following instructions:

July 17, 2010 at 1:22 pm #20665kimjcastleberryMemberThanks for this info! I recently had a chance to interact with the developer on this plugin and have moved to using the developmental version of it on most of my sites. The dev version brings in a lot of neat stuff thats upcoming in the stable release and I fall more and more in love with it daily!
August 9, 2010 at 10:30 pm #20666formbetMemberI’ve just tried this but I am getting issues with downloading in IE and the only thing that resolves it is disabling the W3 Total Cache Plugin. I am switching back to wp super cache just wondering if you had any ideas of a workaround…seems to work ok in Firefox/Chrome…weird one -:
Windows Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer cannot download download.php from xxxxxxxxxx.co.uk.
Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.
OK
August 10, 2010 at 2:08 am #20667amin007ParticipantIt must be having an issue with one of the compression settings for the Total Cache. Use Super Cache if the total cache is giving you grief.
August 15, 2010 at 4:10 am #20668jeffwMemberHi… I’m having an issue with the caching as well, even after adding the 2 lines up there. Specifically with eMember…
Heres whats happening:
User visits site and goes to page XYZ. The sidebar login widget is there as if noone is logged in.
User then logs in, but goes back to XYZ, and it shows the sidebar login widget now in the original form, as though they never logged in.
Also, the reverse is happening:
User logs in, visits page ABC. User visits again later and has not logged in yet, but visits page ABC, and the login widget is now showing their little control panel as though they were logged in.
Thanks!

eMember_in_use
Let me know how it goes.
August 16, 2010 at 2:06 am #20670jeffwMemberAmin and Ivy… Simply said, you rock! I can confirm this is working.
August 17, 2010 at 5:26 pm #20671gamehermitMemberHi Amin,
Thanks for the tip….just installed this plugin I have set the 3 rejected cookies you mentioned but have really left all the other settings to default. We have a ton of traffic building up over the next couple of months. Any suggestions for settings?
Jack
August 18, 2010 at 2:52 am #20672amin007ParticipantThe good thing about the W3 Total Cache is that you don’t need to do any advanced fancy settings to get good caching functionality. So in my opinion the default settings is good enough but here are a few things that I use:
By default the plugin serves non-cached pages to bots and spiders but there is no need for this so you can take out the stuff from the “Rejected User Agents:” field to server cached pages to the bots.
If your server supports it then use the “Opcode” methods as the “Caching Method” which will increase the performance greatly.
August 18, 2010 at 12:08 pm #20673gamehermitMemberThanks Amin I am using a cloud server so I have full access to most things but noticed that Opcode is not enabled. I’ll have to see about getting that enabled.
Thanks so much,
Jack
August 18, 2010 at 8:31 pm #20674gamehermitMemberHey Amin! I….through many struggles ….got APC Opcode installed…wow site is jammin’! Thanks for the great tips! If you get a chance could you check it out to see how it loads for you. I still hve a few aesthetics to finsih up on the site but by the end of this coming weekend everything should be a complete go
Almost forgot to ask….did you leace the APC config settings (appended to the php.ini) to the defaults or did you bump up the memory usage allowance? I just left the defaults…

August 19, 2010 at 2:05 am #20675amin007ParticipantYour site loads good for me too
I left mine to default.
August 26, 2010 at 2:31 pm #20676awpcpMember+1 for this plugin. It eats Super Cache for breakfast. Installing it, disabling Super Cache and using the same opcode as before gave a 20% decrease in page load speeds. (-1 second per page, on average). Works with eStore, no problem so far.
