I have a bunch of Swf files and I’m using the pretty photo player. it works great. When I turn of “everyone” reading the file on S3, and enter my key and secret stuff in Lightbox, I can’t get the video to show up. I know its not the file as it plays unprotected. I went back into my S3 account to copy my key and such. It just doesn’t work. What else do I check? the files names have no space. Ideas?
August 19, 2011 at 3:40 am #35695wpCommerceModeratorCan you post a link to the page where you are using the shortcode?
Please also post the exact shortcode you are using to display protected S3 video.
It would be a good idea to watch the “How to embed protected videos from Amazon S3” tutorial (In the “plugin Usage section”) on the following page –

August 27, 2011 at 6:37 am #35697wpCommerceModeratorLet’s troubleshoot issue. Please change the status of the video to public for now and use the following shortcode –
[wp_lightbox_flowplayer_anchor_text_video link=”http://marketingmusician11.s3.amazonaws.com/testings3.mov” width=”640″ height=”480″ text=”Click here to open the video”]
If it works then we will move to protected mode.

Weird I set it for everyone. went and checked and saw the video. For giggles, went and turned off everyone and left authenticated users. Went to watch expecting it to stall. And it worked. I’ll go watch the video again. There is something somewhere that’s not checked or something.
August 28, 2011 at 12:25 am #35699wpCommerceModeratorIf it works with the unprotected mode then probably your video and bucket names are correct. Which leaves us with one thing – your S3 access key or the secret key is not correct. It is a good Idea to watch the video tutorial if you are not sure.
We also added two new shortcodes to display S3 protected video in overlay (they are much more robust and compatible with all major browsers). Detailed instructions can be found here –
August 28, 2011 at 4:15 am #35700PodcastcoachMemberWent back and copied and pasted the access keys, and go figure it works. I’ve repeated the 400 times. Oh well. Thanks for the support and idea. I love the product.
August 28, 2011 at 4:38 am #35701wpCommerceModeratorIt’s good to hear that you got it working.
