Can you try adding another shortcode to that page (example: Flowplayer shortcode to display mp4 video)? I want to see if it makes any difference. All the shortcode references can be found here –
I can see that your theme has a built-in prettyPhoto library. So whenever I click on the image Two windows pop up in overlay. I think that’s why it was working with default WP theme. You will have to figure out a way to turn that off otherwise you won’t be able to use the plugin.
It’s not a security issue. Nobody will be able to access the main plugin files from outside. However, we have added a blank index.html file to each directory so they don’t get indexed anymore.
Please do the following:
1. Deactivate and delete the currently installed version of the plugin(s).
2. Download a fresh build of the plugin(s) from here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
3. Upload and activate this version of the plugin(s).
I’m not sure what’s wrong with the latest version of safari. But if you can view PDF file in the browser you should also be able to view it in the overlay window (lightbox).
Google chrome doesn’t need adobe reader. It has a built in PDF viewer plugin. For IE and FF you need to have adobe reader or acrobat installed.

Your PDF file is working fine on my browser but I think I know what you are talking about. If you directly copy and paste the PDF file link to the browser, can you actually view the PDF file or does it prompt for download?
If it prompts for download then probably your browser is not configured so you can view PDF file in browser mode. You should be able to configure this from the browser “options” (usually content settings).
@Jimmurdoch, I didn’t find any lightbox ultimate shortcode on that page. Please insert a shortcode (either anchor text or image) so I can check it out.

I just had a look. You have multiple versions of the same javascript library included in that page.

@Friction, I can’t access the link you provided. I think only members can access it. Do you have any test membership account that I can use?You should always use hyphen(-) to name a file because it will be part of a URL. Please have a look at Google’s guidelines here –

However, I tried those shortcodes on my test site. They are working fine. So I think something else is causing the issue.
