Admin, I just finished answering that email – gave you all the info you requested. Anything else I can do, just let me know. Thank you!
June 18, 2014 at 3:28 pm in reply to: Domains for WishList member, wp affiliate and wp estore – best course of action? #63690PosturallyMemberHi, admin, After reading the 2 links you provided, I think the 2nd one is more appropriate for my situation. My goal is to have the BUY NOW button take the user directly to PayPal – so no intermediary stop point.
I don’t really need e-store in this case, unless you tell me I do for technical reasons.
I do need affiliate. My question about affiliate is should I set it up on the domain that has the Buy Now button? Or would I be better off setting it up on the domain with the WishList product?
Thanks,
Anne

I’ve already put so much work into all this. I have a main site where the sales page with the Buy Now button leading directly to pay pal is. I’ve tested it and it works great. The customer is lead to the wishlist site and that part is just fine, too. But I really want to have affiliates, and it sounds like you’re saying I need to remove redo my whole set up in order to do so…… ouch…..
PosturallyMemberThank you!
PosturallyMemberOkay, it worked. Thanks!
PosturallyMemberNo I definitely CAN install via the WP dashboard, and it would be a whole lot easier. But the instructions said to UNZIP and upload the folder, but you can’t do that via the dashboard. That’s the only reason. I’ll try it again and post here again if the problem persists.
Thanks!
PosturallyMemberAlong those lines, how do I know if I need to require a tax id from my affiliates? Is there a reason I’d ask for it? Or can the affiliate relationship proceed without my having their tax id?
Thanks.
PosturallyMemberI have a WishList Member course I’m selling using a PayPal hosted button and wp affiliate – no estore.
I’d like to do what you’ve described in this thread. Given that I am bypassing estore altogether, is it still possible for me to reverse the commission for refunded wishlist memberships?
June 14, 2014 at 12:44 am in reply to: Looking for instructions to WP Affiliate, WishList and eStore integration #49121PosturallyMemberRe Option #1: Can I use the email link that PayPal provides (instead of the button code)? Isn’t that how you would use the button url redirect in such a case?
Like Cyndi, I want to make sure affiliate sales get counted and affiliates get paid but I don’t really have any other need for estore in this case. So would the email link do the same job if I were using Option #1?
PosturallyMemberGot it. Thanks. I’ll check with them to see what’s up with that.
PosturallyMemberI will do that, but can you clarify something for me? Are you saying that ALL instances in that particular URL (ie both product page and button redirect) have the error?
Or alternatively, are you saying that the Button url in Estore uses POST data, while the product url does not?
Knowing the answer to this will help expedite the communications with them, as they often take a long time to get back to each email sent.
Thanks!
PosturallyMemberI have a situation where on one of my products the buy now button results in an error message. This is inconsistent with the 2 other products on the same page where the buy now buttons work just fine.
All 3 products have the same exact affiliates url in the respective product page url and button redirect url.
In all but 8 Weeks to Healing Your Body both the text links on the top and the buy now button work. But again, the Buy Now button on the 8 Weeks to Healing Your Body results in an error message.
Try it for yourself: [http://products.posturally.com/]
Any ideas? Thanks!
PosturallyMemberThe theme is Word Press’s own Twenty Twelve. I they gave the option to turn off comments, I’d think that they of all people would fulfill on that promise….
EDITED TO ADD: I figured out what it is, in case anyone needs to know: You have to go to “All Pages” Then hover over the title of the page you don’t want comments on. Then go into “Quick Edit”. Then uncheck “Allow Comments” Works like a charm. Case closed
PosturallyMemberJust as you described above, I went into “Screen Options” and Unchecked “Comments” and “Discussion”. Just the same, comments are showing up on my checkout and cart and other pages. How do I get them not to show up?
I should mention that I am working in Estore and NOT Emember.
April 25, 2014 at 4:02 am in reply to: How to Customize or Change the Buy Button Images for eStore #38375PosturallyMemberI figured it out. I had used a short code for a buy now button which put a 2nd one on the bottom of the page. (I thought I had a cart short code but went back to check and sure enough, the short code was for a buy now button. Problem solved.)
