OK, then since I did not do this, how can I contact you (doing this now) to reset my license?
mbaseSpectatorI’m finding it very difficult to even test this product. I purchased it and installed it on my site. Then I later created a sub-domain for testing (realized I should have done this at first) and deactivated PDF Stamper on the first domain and tried to reactivate it for testing purposes on the subdomain. Got the “License key is invalid! Reached Maximum Allowable Domains!” error.
I deleted PDF Stamper completely from both domains, still get the same error.
If we cannot even move the product from one domain to the next (for testing), then how is it possible to test it on a site that is not live yet? This is very restrictive for a product that we have actually purchased.
Also, I will eventually have to move it back to the live domain when I am finished testing.
I don’t have this problem with any of the other plugin’s I purchased, eStore, eMember, etc.
I understand that this is a one-domain license, but does this mean that you can never use it again, once you have used it on one domain? Shouldn’t it be that it can only be installed on one domain at a time? Otherwise, how can this be tested on anything but a live site?
February 19, 2014 at 9:44 am in reply to: WP eMember – Downgrade Member Level From Premium To Free? #48929mbaseSpectatorI’ve been testing this for a few weeks now. It appears to work fine. One thing that I noticed is that sometimes a member’s account is set to inactive. For example, a premium member cancels their PayPal recurring payment, and their account sometimes gets set to Premium in-active. But as soon as the member logs in again, it seems to reset to Free. I don’t have a problem with this, but I’m unsure if this is how it’s supposed to work.
Thanks a lot for your help, its greatly appreciated, and it’s always a pleasure to deal with great support for a product.
February 19, 2014 at 9:39 am in reply to: eMember – subscription renewal does not work after recurring Paypal payment #60301mbaseSpectatorOK. The reason why I was browsing this subject is that when I can’t seem to get my PayPal settings quite right. I searched this forum and tried various solutions, but they don’t seem to work quite right.
I have abandoned using the PDT Identity Token (although I believe that this should be the correct method), because when PayPal sent me back to my site, the items still appeared in my cart. Even after following all the suggestions on this forum, the only way I would no items in my cart after paying was to delete the PDT Identity Token.
In general, everything dealing with PayPal is working fine for me. I’ve set up both recurring payments and one-off shopping cart payments, and both go through fine in my tests. It was just this one issue with items remaining in my cart that I can’t seem to solve.
February 15, 2014 at 12:11 pm in reply to: Adding User Name and Forgot Password to purchase confirmation email #60497mbaseSpectatorYes Carlene,
It would be great if eStore could look into eMember’s database and fetch the user name. I am having exactly the problem that you describe, different PayPal and eMember email addresses, and not knowing that the two are really for the same person. eStore having access to the unique user name would go a long way to solving this problem, and save me a lot of time. I’m trying to do it myself, but I don’t know the correct php code to use the Member ID to fetch the User Name from within eStore. I’d also like eStore to send this User ID to MailChimp, so I’m trying to add the code to eStore_auto_responder_handler.php – not successful so far.
February 13, 2014 at 5:23 am in reply to: eStore – Can customer name and email be stored in WP User? #53482mbaseSpectatorSorry in advance for the long post. But this topic sounds very close to something that I would like to do, and I already own both eStore and eMember.
What I would like is for eStore to have access to the purchasing member’s user name, so that once an eStore purchase occurs, I can send the user name as well as the email address and first and last name that comes in from PayPal, to my MailChimp list. The user name may not already exist, because it is possible for unregistered users to purchase a membership right away, and the order that this is executed is eStore -> PayPal -> Registration -> Confirmation, so the member creates their email after the PayPal process is complete. But many people become Free members first, and so are already registered when they decide to upgrade their memberships, and I would like to store these member’s user names along with the category of their purchase.
I need this because many members register through eMember using one email address, but then have a different email address associated with their PayPal accounts. So that, unknowingly (they don’t know how these plugins work) those members that have multiple email addresses are placed into my MailChimp list twice, once when they register, and then whenever they purchase anything through eStore. On my site, with the exception of initial membership levels, only those registered through eMember can purchase anything through eStore.
Ideally, I would like to have eStore be able to automatically search my MailChimp record for a match for that particular user name, and then if found, add the information about what was purchased through eStore (membership level, product, donation, etc.) to that member’s already existing record, but this may be too much to ask for.
So, at the least, if I have multiple records with the same user name, I would know that this is really the same person; because WordPress and eMember only allow one username per person, and I have it set up so that everyone has to initially register through eMember (even Free members).
I had a lot of problems setting up eStore and eMember to integrate the way I wanted them to with MailChimp. I tried a lot of different solutions, but ended up having to write some code (and modify some things) to get it to work properly.
What I needed was for eMember and eStore to send a member’s user name to a field in that member’s MailChimp record, along with that member’s membership level, to groups I had set up in the MailChimp record; in addition to the email address and first and last name that it was set up to send by default.
For example, if a member was a basic member, then later became a premium member, then later donated, then purchased something, I wanted that member’s entry in MailChimp to reflect all of this by having each of these activities (i.e., Basic, Premium, Donate, Purchase) added as groups in the member’s MailChimp record. I don’t know how to delete these groups once they are added, but I’m not worried about that, I just want a record of the things that a particular member’s activity that is easy to see at a glance, and that I can use to filter my list.
This is working now for me, although it was ‘very difficult’ to set up. However these two posts gave me the clues that I needed to get started:

mbaseSpectatorThis is a little similar to a problem I have. Suppose a member subscribes to a Basic membership (recurring payment), then later upgrades to a Premium membership (also a recurring payment). How is it possible to automate canceling the first basic recurring subscription payment, and then subscribing the member on a premium recurring payment.
I understand that PayPal does not allow recurring payments to be modified, so therefore I want to know how eStore can cancel a recurring payment first. Or is there is some work-a-round that does not involve the member or me manually adjusting the payments?
With a large number of members, and multiple membership levels with different prices, manually managing this would be a nightmare, not to mention not taking advantage of what computers are good at.
Thanks.
February 8, 2014 at 6:54 am in reply to: WP eMember – Type of Emails Where Email Tags/Shortcodes Won't Work #50826mbaseSpectatorJust thought that I should share this.
I found another email that is not able to use the personalized email tags/shortcodes.
1) Account expiry email notification (if you are using this feature)
2) Auto upgrade email notification (if you are using this feature)
3) Account upgrade notification (if the account is upgraded using eStore)
This third Account Upgrade email is different from the Auto Upgrade email mentioned 2nd in the list.
I did a Google search and found this page with the explanation – thanks.

January 27, 2014 at 6:15 pm in reply to: WP eMember – Downgrade Member Level From Premium To Free? #48927mbaseSpectatorHello,
I would also like to have eMember automatically set a subscriber’s membership level back to the free membership level (if defined in eMember settings) when a PayPal subscription cancellation is received? Having the membership level automatically set to inactive does not work for me.
Has this issue been solved yet? If so, could you please point me to the solution. Thanks.
