Yeah my friend I wish I could afford to pay someone to do the work. Delegation is a great concept, if you can pay :) I can barely pay my bills right now.

Some plugins don’t show settings under the plugin because there’s a darn whole page in wordpress that includes settings for all the plugins without settings. It’s kind of hidden, so no wonder I didn’t see it the first 3 hours

can I ask something off topic? why on some wordpress plugins I don’t see any ‘settings’ while on some others it says ‘settings’ ? I still don’t understand this. I inevitably end up clicking ‘edit’ and guess what, I end up with a mile of HTML code stuff that I don’t understand.

    Thanks!

actually that’s not a very good one, seems like you have to register, ask support, etc….but will see if I find a decent one. Was hoping estore could do it as I trust it a lot more

sorted. The freaking problem was that I deal with two different currencies, so in ‘postage calculations’ I had my other currency selected, not the one that I had to deal with. Which means it’s a dumb system as the ‘selector’ is a very unassuming scroll-down menu and it’s not immediately clear that I have to switch things back and forth just to deal with a postage setting. Paypal’s website sucks anyways in many respects.

Can you believe I took weeks to sort this one issue.

    Thank you for your help.

I only have one paypal account, and I don’t have the means to process credit card payments. I don’t know what you mean by ‘account alias’, so it seems all a bit impractical

Thank you. I could not find the menues you mentioned. I could only find: my account > my selling preferences > postage calculations, and I have there’s a zero for all the ‘price ranges’. Nothing changed

thanks wpz, I was completely unaware of that. It really sucks. Did paypal add this in the last few months? because I remember that until a while ago they did not refund digital files.

I am actually a seller of tangible goods and have used paypal for ages and was completely unaware of the policy you showed me.

So if I understand well, paypal can refund automatically without even having the buyer bother to escalate to a claim, if the file doesn’t go over the $ 4 threshold. What if the file costs more than $ 4 ?

in other words….paypal protects the buyer only for tangible goods, not for intangible ones such as web services, downloads, ebooks, mp3’s, etc

OP, I have only read the first post. I have never been aware that people can get Paypal to refund because of a digital downloads. I am 80 per cent sure that paypal DOES NOT offer ANY buyer protection for digital downloads. You can’t lose anything, unless you agree to refund them regardless.

here’s some info from another forum

thank you wzp. Estore is a kick-butt product. I am loving it. That’s the first time that I have bought an internet marketing product that allows me to learn and move really fast. Just tried to make a squeeze page and I could not believe how simple and easy it was. Thanks again for the good help and have a great day.
