mentions testing a very low cost product without the sandbox thing, but how ? I can only log into paypal as seller

I only have one paypal account, and I don’t have the means to process credit card payments. I don’t know what you mean by ‘account alias’, so it seems all a bit impractical

What I mean is; are you trying to log into PayPal as a buyer, using the same email address that eStore is using as the seller?

PayPal allows you to associate more than one email address with your account. These extra email addresses are called “aliases.” Your primary PayPal email address is used by eStore; and your PayPal email alias is used for testing.

For credit card processing, you need to upgrade your PayPal account to a “verified business account.” Upgrading is free.

Also, what country are you in, since PayPal may work differently for you?
