guys, I just have one last question about themes. I found a theme that I like slightly better and ran W3C through it, can you have a look at the results below and tell me if it’s suitable? I just want a site with blogs, articles, a few digital downloads for sale (video files and pdfs) and that’s it, nothing fancy. If this theme is no good then I’ll definitely use the twentyten theme and move on. Thanks!!!
Validation Output: 3 Errors
Error Line 71, Column 59: ID “searchform” already defined
An “id” is a unique identifier. Each time this attribute is used in a document it must have a different value. If you are using this attribute as a hook for style sheets it may be more appropriate to use classes (which group elements) than id (which are used to identify exactly one element).

Leopold BucowskyMemberthank you guys, that’s great to hear, good to know I can press forward, the twentyten theme is perfectly fine then.
thanks again!
Leopold BucowskyMemberPS. i have no other plugins installed at the moment, except estore. Thanks
Leopold BucowskyMemberjust retested theme twentyten with W3C, gives me the following errors:
[admin deleted error codes]
Leopold BucowskyMemberthank you all
admin, yes simple is good, I am not after anything flashy, as long as it’s functional. The themes you indicate still give a couple of errors, but maybe they are minor? If you say that they are properly coded then that’s what I’ll use.
Can I get rid of the pictures?
thanks!
Leopold BucowskyMemberjust found by chance the tutorial ‘how do I start a blog and make money’. Exactly what I was looking for! Kind of hard to find intentionally though
