Thanks admin, I did have this enabled. I’ve now disabled it and will ask the members affected to try logging in again.
Happy New Year!

kencopeSpectatorThanks for asking. Yes, they are the only ones having issues and no, BT is not the only ISP, but BT is the only ISP to provide IPv6 and these are the members that are having issues. There are only 3 members in total using BT.
kencopeSpectatorHi wzp,
Thanks for getting back to me. They have been trying Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox. They both use BT (British Telecom) for their ISP so perhaps this might be the issue?
Happy New Year!

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated.
Another thought then, perhaps along the lines of providing a list of items and the new member emails their preference as to which one and we provide an encrypted link? Would this be possible?
Thanks for your help.
Kind regards,
Ken

Yes, that’s correct. Most visitors are familiar with the shopping cart but I have had a few recently who have been confused by the process.
kencopeSpectatorThanks very much, that’s really helpful. Presenting proof of purchase is probably the way to go – I’ll get back to my client.
I appreciate the speed of reply – such great support here!

October 7, 2017 at 11:58 am in reply to: Require strong passwords without loging into wordpress #76548kencopeSpectatorOne other thing, would it be possible to call the class eMember_Rand_Pass_Utility into a form so that the form itself would generate the random secure password automatically?
October 7, 2017 at 10:29 am in reply to: Require strong passwords without loging into wordpress #76547kencopeSpectatorThanks wzp,
I’ve tried the solution in the first link, backing up the original eMember_registration_utils.php first and reset the fields, first to 6 and then to 8, but I could still enter only 4 characters for the password and it was accepted.
My version was only purchased in September, however, I have downloaded the plugin afresh from the reinstall link provided – the plugin went from version 9.2.3 to 9.2.4. so there was a difference, but the registration form still will accept only 4 characters. I also re-installed the wp eCart and eMember Form Builder add-on but there has been no change.
I really would like this to default to 8 and show the pop-up as requiring 8 not the 4 it currently shows. I’m happy to make adjustments to this via my child theme if at all possible.
October 4, 2017 at 4:32 pm in reply to: eMember – creating custom fields to be included in email response fields #76529kencopeSpectatorHello again,
I’m very pleased to say I now have the membership emails working with two new custom fields. The first one is a new dropdown Title field that includes the likes of ‘Revd’ and the Gift Aid Subscription worked with a Dropdown of yes or no. After some testing the ones that work are:
Title: {Title}
Gift Aid Subscription: {GiftAid}
I had to remove spaces from the original ‘Gift Aid Subscription’ and ‘Gift Aid’ Field Names, so if anyone is looking for an answer to using Custom Fields and their testing isnt producing the required result I suggest you try this.
Thanks for all your help.
Kind regards,
Ken
