Hello thank you for the reply
The problem with this flow is that your require to put someone in their credit card details prior to them creating an account and conversions are much lower that way.
I am looking to give a 7 day free trial with credit card capture.
If I would be able to get their contact details first, have them create the account, and then redirect them to the paypal page, that would be the correct flow.
Is that flow possible or can it be made custom?
November 30, 2016 at 10:24 am in reply to: eStore – is it possible to customize the text for Download Now button? #70593dansmithMemberI have a question along similar lines:
We use our own buttons on our site. For subscription buttons, instead of using shortcodes we just use custom URL’s as seen in this post: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/subscription-payment-link#post-31560
Do you have custom text link i can use for download now buttons instead of using shortcode: [wp_eStore_download_now_button id=1]
thanks
September 19, 2016 at 8:54 am in reply to: Who gets the affiliate commission? First referrer or second? #54838dansmithMemberHello
If an affiliate refers a user to our site using an affiliate link.
Then the user bounces, and searches us through google and comes back to the site organically and makes a purchase.
Will the sale stil go to the original affiliate? Or will it be marked as no one since the second time he came through Google without an affiliate link at all.
thanks
September 12, 2016 at 9:12 am in reply to: eMember – Generate and Email the Registration Completion link (Bulk Mode) #68991dansmithMemberhi thanks that’s great! worked like a charm
dansmithMemberHello – I have a similar question, but I don’t see that it was answered here.
Currently, I have paid and free membership with emember
I have the 2 step registration process:
1) fist user fills out first + last name + email
2) user receives confirmation email and must click link
3)user is redirected to a page where he creates a user name and password and fills out some extra info
4) user is logged in and redirected to thank you page.
Currently, between steps 1 and 2, a simple “thank you for your submission /check your email” is shown where they entered in their information in step 1.
i would like instead to send them to a page specifically telling them that they must check their email and click the confirmation link after they finish step 1. is that possible currently?

dansmithMemberHi – okay thanks. What I created was an iframe which is hosted on our site. we simply supply the code for the iframe and affiliates can use native emember register form

dansmithMemberHello
Pardon me, but I don’t think that API allows creation of affiliate account
It says “WP eMember plugin has an API that allows you to create a member account using a standard HTTP GET or POST request.”
Are you saying this is NOT what this API does?
Perhaps I wasn’t as clear as I could be so i’ll try again.
We currently have an affiliate who is interested in creating his own landing page on his own site. On the landing page he wants to add a contact form where users can input name email etc and it connects to our api in order to create an emember acocunt with a certain account level (which I see on the link I provided that you can pass these values)
If the affiliate passes a new customer via this API, how does the customer track to my affiliate via the affiliate’s landing page?
thank you
dansmithMemberhi, can someone reply to this question?
i am using wp estore + wp emember.
i would like to track in adwords when a user registers
dansmithMembersorry – i might have gotten confused. i use wp-estore and wp-emember. for e-store i installed ur plugin for tracking conversions. it would be nice for wp-emember to also have tracking for registrations
dansmithMemberI selected the following:
One Time Commission for Subscription Payment
and
Award Fixed Commission Per Transaction
But I am asking regarding the following:
The user makes a transaction, and the affiliate is awarded comission.
A few days later the user makes another transaction – the affiliate will be awarded another commission.
Is the only way to limit this by reducing the # of days for cookies?
I’m wondering if there is a way to set it up so that once a user makes a purchase, the affiliate can never again be awarded any commissions for any further purchases the user makes.
dansmithMemberhm, okay we will test and let you know our solution
dansmithMemberHi, we are able to get registration value, and we are able to get affiliate ID – but how do we get the source ID.
I looked at the table structure for clickthroughs and there is a column for campaign id.
I also looked through the structure for sales (this is actual payment conversion right?) and it also has column for campaign id
But registration table does not have column for campaign ID. could you give me instructions on how to add that column so we can also track campaign id for registrations? my developer can add this but we are wondering if it will conflict with something else in plugin.
or simply can you modify the registration [plugin to account for the c_id column so we can use it?
thank you
dansmithMemberhello thank you for the reply.
i am not looking to give the affiliates any information about the user. I am only looking to give them the information that there was a registration from some source ID of theirs.
can you tell me what database value that would be?
