Hi, I have some subscription products, I want to add text link but when I tried to add link like [http://mydomain.com/?wp_eStore_buy_now=1], it doesn’t work. It redirects to home page without any action.
How to resolve this issue?
February 6, 2012 at 10:35 am #41669adminKeymasterAt the moment we only have text link option for “Add to cart” and “Buy Now” type buttons. The subscription type buttons do not have a text link option. We have plans to add this in a few days time. This post will explain the different types of buttons:
Update: PayPal Subscription text link feature has been added to the plugin:

February 7, 2012 at 3:44 am #41671PeterMemberHi,
Regarding your question:
“why buy now link redirect to home page?”
Have you double-checked that your product ID has been correctly entered in the link?
ie, ?wp_eStore_buy_now=X
where X is a valid product ID which you can get from your eStore product configuration.
Can you also please send a link to the page which contains your “buy now” text link?
March 30, 2012 at 7:37 am #41672adminKeymasterThe subscription payment text link option is now available. The following text link is an example of how you can use it. It lets the user purchase subscription Product “1” via a “Subscription” type button from your site:
http://www.your-domain.com/?wp_eStore_subscribe=1
Replace “1” with the actual ID of the eStore subscription product and “your-domain.com” with your own domain name where you have the plugin installed.
March 26, 2013 at 3:59 pm #41673jbreugelmansMemberHi there,
I managed to get the subscribe button in my page, bu when i click the Subscribe button, Paypal warns me that “This feature is only available to Business and Premier Accounts.”
I am using paypal express and with paypal express you can also create subcribe options. I am confused why they say I should change my account…
Any thoughts on how to setup my subcription site?
March 27, 2013 at 12:10 am #41674adminKeymasterSimply upgrade your PayPal account to a “Premier” or “Business” account (it is free and easy to upgrade your PayPal merchant account).
PayPal doesn’t offer some services/features to “personal” account holders (I am guessing there are legal requirements that prevent them from offering it to personal accounts).
