January 14, 2018 at 10:45 pm in reply to: estore emember integration, bundling membership levels #77107thermofunMember
Yes I have secondary membership levels turned on. And I have done the bundling as described in https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/adding-membership-in-a-bundle. This bundles a download with one membership level.
Now I am trying to sell multiple membership levels in a single estore product.
So customer clicks add to cart on ONE product but gets MULTIPLE membership levels assigned at the same time.
I followed these instructions https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/how-to-configure-a-packaged-product-using-the-existing-products-262 but it only seems to apply to digital products. If the products being bundled contain eMember levels in the reference text field, the packaged product does not assign multiple membership levels to the user.

January 7, 2018 at 12:43 am in reply to: eStore and eMember subscription, want to require new members to login #76872thermofunMemberNote that the problem in ONLY for new users who register and then auto-login. Existing users who login via the emember_login widget do not redirect. It’s as if the [wp_eMember_registration] widget and auto-login is not honoring the options that are set.
This is flow 3, as per https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/a-typical-member-registration-flow-96
Note there is no demo of flow 3 in the above page.
January 7, 2018 at 12:40 am in reply to: eStore and eMember subscription, want to require new members to login #76871thermofunMemberI thought I was fairly clear in my explanation. i DON’T want new users who regsiter to be redirected. They are on page thermofun.com/sales. The inline register widget gets them to register then they auto-login. I want them to stay on the sales page. I have NO redirect options set, but the user who registers is being redirected to the login page after registering. The page they redirect to is thermofun.com/member-login. This is the page specified as the login page in the pages settings.
Why are they redirecting?
As I said above, the options I have set are
I have auto-login after registration selected
I have selected Prevent After Login Redirection When Logging in via Inline Login Option
I have deselected allow redirection after login
Is there an option I am missing?
January 5, 2018 at 3:56 am in reply to: eStore and eMember subscription, want to require new members to login #76869thermofunMemberI have almost got this working. Existing users logging in to see the purchase section works fine. But if a brand new member registers, they are redirected to the login page, showing their basic profile. I want them to stay on the same shop page.
I have auto-login after registration selected
I have selected Prevent After Login Redirection When Logging in via Inline Login Option
I have deselected allow redirection after login
Here’s what I have coded on the pageI

December 22, 2017 at 7:50 pm in reply to: eMember – I want to include secondary levels in member export #76879thermofunMemberI want the export file to show all the levels the user has. Either the name or the ID of the levels would be fine.
December 11, 2017 at 2:44 am in reply to: eStore and eMember subscription, want to require new members to login #76868thermofunMemberWe would like them to see the product description, just not the subscribe button. The product description is all in eStore and shown automatically by [wp_eStore_subscribe_fancy id=34]. I can’t see how we can show the description and not the button. Using the method you have described will require us to repeat all the product information on the page, rather than getting from eStore, which is not ideal.
Thanks, Steve
October 29, 2016 at 9:00 am in reply to: eStore – Paypal showing a different amount & shipping add on #74454thermofunMemberWould anyone be able to shed some light on this for me please.
Thanks
October 26, 2016 at 1:12 am in reply to: eStore – Paypal showing a different amount & shipping add on #74453thermofunMemberNo I am not using paypal based shipping – as the shipping is included in the price.
I want to add an option for someone to pay extra for registered shipping but I can’t see an option for that anywhere. If I add a variation then they get a discount on that as members, and I don’t want that to have a discount.
The page is still in draft so not sure how I can share it with you.
But to see the paypal different amount with an e-book just head to this page:
[http://thermofun.com/join-us/] even with e-books it is registering different prices.
April 21, 2016 at 11:45 pm in reply to: eStore – Purchase one product and then upgrade later? #73041thermofunMemberThanks wzp I will have a look at that
thermofunMemberIt seems I needed to add 0.00 instead of just 0 so all fixed now thanks
April 2, 2016 at 9:45 am in reply to: eStore and eMember – I want to enter email address twice on registration form #72902thermofunMemberThe problem is adding them to our mailchimp mailing list with the wrong email address. And having secure download links sent to the wrong email address.
Both those scenarios have happened a few times already.
March 29, 2016 at 11:04 am in reply to: eStore and eMember – I want to enter email address twice on registration form #72900thermofunMemberHi wzp,
I don’t think we need that option. We are using method 3.1 in this page https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/a-typical-member-registration-flow-96
The registration page is shown as part of the purchase. However there is no option to avoid a user making a mistake with their email address, and thus not being signed up correctly. That’s why I want to be able to require email address to be entered twice.
Thanks, Steve
thermofunMemberWell that didn’t work.
I have installed the dynamic coupons set as per the instructions for having members get a discount.
Went to the specific member area in eMember put in the required discount but it gives discount to free members as well.
I can not leave the dynamic coupons area blank and the discount doesn’t work if I don’t have the eMember area ticked.
Could you please help me solve this problem. I want only 1 level out of the 4 I have to get a discount automatically on items.
Thanks
thermofunMemberThanks so effectively I don’t need the dynamic coupons to give specific members a discount when logged in. Thanks for helping me clear that up
