Is it possible to set things up so that a subscribed member will get a percentage discount across the board on our store? Can we do this so that different levels of membership get different discounts? For instance, we want our level-2 members to get 10% off for everything in our store, and even get certain items for free. Level-1 members would still have to pay full price, but still get one or two items for free. Can this be setup between emember and estore? We would like for this to be automatically applied when a member is logged in.
September 16, 2014 at 8:43 am #65483adminKeymasterI think you are asking for the following:
September 16, 2014 at 9:22 pm #65484TheSilentStillMemberThanks so much for your reply! I follow the directions on this, but there is no such setting in my dynamic coupons for eMember integration. I read that some people need to update for these types of problems to be fixed, but I honestly don’t fully understand how to update. I’m currently running:
eMember: 8.8.6
eStore: 7.1.1
Dynamic Coupons: 1.6
Do I need to do an update to have these options available?
September 16, 2014 at 11:54 pm #65485adminKeymasterYou just need to update the dyanamic coupons addon. We just added that option in there.
Following the download link from here and you will be able to download the new version of the addon:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-dynamic-couponsdiscounts-addon-2220
Delete your old copy of that addon and then install the newly downloaded copy (you won’t lose any data in the process).
September 22, 2014 at 6:51 pm #65486TheSilentStillMemberI upgraded it and the option is now there, thanks!
Now my problem is that the discount is only being reflected on my product categories page and not my product pages. On my product pages I’m using a shortcode: [wp_eStore_product_details id=37 info=”price”] do display. Is this why the member discount I input into eMember/dynamic coupons is not displaying properly? How do I fix this?
September 23, 2014 at 1:07 am #65487adminKeymasterThat shows the raw price of the product. Use the following shortcode to show the formatted price which will trigger this discount addon’s condition:
[wp_eStore_product_details id=37 info=”price_formatted”]
March 27, 2016 at 11:31 am #65488thermofunMemberHi, I have downloaded the latest version from the link provided – 1.7 and I can’t find where I choose the membership level to assign the appropriate discount.
All that is available in the WP eMember Intergration section is
Enable Auto Disounts For Members a place for me to tick
Member Discount Amount. and a place to put the percentage.
Where would I find the area to select certain membership levels discounts.
March 28, 2016 at 2:42 am #65489adminKeymasterYou specify the membership level discount by editing the membership level in the eMember plugin.
March 28, 2016 at 12:05 pm #65490thermofunMemberThanks so effectively I don’t need the dynamic coupons to give specific members a discount when logged in. Thanks for helping me clear that up
March 28, 2016 at 12:31 pm #65491thermofunMemberWell that didn’t work.
I have installed the dynamic coupons set as per the instructions for having members get a discount.
Went to the specific member area in eMember put in the required discount but it gives discount to free members as well.
I can not leave the dynamic coupons area blank and the discount doesn’t work if I don’t have the eMember area ticked.
Could you please help me solve this problem. I want only 1 level out of the 4 I have to get a discount automatically on items.
Thanks
March 29, 2016 at 3:46 am #65492adminKeymasterI will take a look inside your site and check your setup. I have sent you an email for it.
April 5, 2016 at 12:10 am #65493thermofunMemberIt seems I needed to add 0.00 instead of just 0 so all fixed now thanks
