Adding membership in a bundle (downloadable file and membership level together)

My problem may be simple but I can’t figure out how to fix it so here goes.

In my shop I sell ebooks. What I want to do is to offer access to our members only area with each purchase of a specific ebook.

So what I did was I created a bundle with the e-book in question and a membership. My question is, is there a way that I can have the membership details emails to the customer upon purchase of the ebook?

Thus far my efforts cause the system to generate a download(!) link for the membership as well even though I haven’t select it as downloadable.

Any help is much appreciated

Yes, you can have an eStore product that gives a downloadable file and at the same time is hooked to an eMember’s membership level (as if the customer is paying for a membership).

When a customer purchase a product that has downloadable products and is hooked to a membership level, the following will happen:

1) The customer will get the standard product sale notification email from eStore which will contain the download links for the product

2) The customer will receive another email for the membership registration related task.

If you are going to offer different membership levels for different eBooks then you can enable the Multiple Membership Levels per Member feature too. More details on it here:
