Hi,
2 years ago Admin said they were working on this feature. Has it been implemented yet, or is there a way to integrate more smoothly with something like Ninja Forms?
Thank you.
pwradioMemberHi,
I too am interested in this. We are at a small museum and selling things like memberships, day camps and birthday parties, and I am currently using Ninja forms in conjunction with eStore. Problem is that some department heads don’t like the 2 email system and are requesting I look into a more streamlined plugin.
We are small enough that eStore otherwise works for our needs.
Any thoughts to a time frame for this that I can hold them off with?
Thanks
pwradioMemberHi,
I am “renovating” my sites at the moment. I’ll give a bump here when I can get an example up.
What I observed yesterday was
Any audio with the default audio player did not reveal the mp3 path. This is as normal.
Fancy 8 with the modification that calls on the html5 player (instead of the default audio player) did reveal the mp3 file path.
I’ll try to replicate it ASAP and send you a link.
Thanks, and sorry I am under-prepared.
pwradioMemberHi and thanks for your response,
“You mean just so the audio can be played using HTML5 in an IOS device?”
Yes and no. I want it to be seen on an IOS/Android device (and desktop of course). BUT in a way that the mp3 cannot be found in the source by the user…. like the default player through eStore.
In other words, I want a user to be able to play a song but not be able to find it on my server.
Thank you,
Shawn
pwradioMemberHi all,
If possible, need the new player to play encrypted HTML 5 MP3s. In other words, I need something like the [wp_eStore_audio_player src =”http://www.example.com/auido/test.mp3″%5D shortcode but with the new player so it can be seen on mobile devices, but the file source cannot be found in the source code (no one can download the MP3).
Is there an easy way to make this happen?
I’ve gotten the fancy_8 to work, but for this application I do not always need the price, format or add to cart button.
Thank you,
Shawn
pwradioMemberpwradioMemberDon’t I feel dumb. The eStore plugin file was uploaded with an incorrect name due to the unzip problem in my computer’s download file.
Soooo, at least on http://records.pwradio.net we’re back to square 1. Not downloading on Chrome. Any thoughts?
Thanks, and sorry about that!

pwradioMemberHi,
I changed the validation script location earlier this morning only to see if things would work that way. Since your last post I have changed it back.
I upgraded to v5.8.0 and I now have different problems.
on http://records.pwradio.net the encrypted link opens a Link Not Found page.
on http://pwradio.net the admin function page will not generate ANY links.
On “records…” I tried several download methods all with the same results. I didn’t do this on the second site yet.
WZP: Looks like when this is resolved, I should clearly document “Don’t download using Chrome”. Thanks for the info.
pwradioMemberInteresting note: The links seem to work on Safari, but not on Chrome. The links made at http://pwradio.net seem to work fine on Chrome.
January 29, 2011 at 1:39 pm in reply to: Shipping by weight and variations are not compatible? #25084pwradioMemberHi all,
I came across the same issue and wondered how hard or easy it would be to add a weight option to the variation line? I know that you have a clear statement as mentioned above, but it seems like it would be a fairly easy thing to do. if its easy then why not? If its not, oh well, I’ll live.
So, for my application I have :
Combo Savings|Just this CD|Add Wax and Seal:6.00|Add Live at St. Kevins:4.00|Buy all three:12.00
But instead I could have this (noting that each CD is 0.2 pounds weight):
Combo Savings|Just this CD:0:.2|Add Wax and Seal:6.00:.4|Add Live at St. Kevins:4.00:.4|Buy all three:12.00:.6
ALSO This could be combined with digital variation so with weight your product is physical and can be shipped. With zero weight it is strictly digital.
Thanks
pwradioMemberThanks again Assurer!
I was zipping not to compress, but to bundle. Obviously I am going to go with your suggestion, which will make adding new products much easier.
Thank you!
pwradioMemberThanks for workign on this. Sadly it is doing what it was doing yesterday. It seems to be downloading the full file, but it is unzipping to a ‘.zip.cpgz” file.
So, this is still unresolved. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Shawn
pwradioMemberThey were zipped on a Mac. I have to stress however that they were encrypting and downloading fine until now.
I have a multi site set up and I tried downloading from the other site. I was able to encrypt and download a non-zipped file from there. The zipped files had the same problem as on the shop site. I didn’t have time to test a non-zipped file on the shop site before i ran out the door, but i suspect the same results… if that info matters at all.
pwradioMemberNo.
pwradioMemberThanks wzp. we posted at the same time. Not a problem, and thanks!
