I have read this thread- https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/collecting-customer-input-with-wp-estore-plugin but I still have a question about how to collect input.

I would like to have it so when a customer comes to my page they have data fields (name, address, phones, email) which they fill out then press a submit button to go to the next page and select the product and select the check out method, Paypal or Authorize.net at which point they enter in their payment info.

Is there anyway to collect/store that data on the first page and pass it on to a processor on the second page so the customer only has to enter their info the one time?

Would this involve setting up and modifying a squeeze page?

    Thanks!

No, eStore’s checkout process is shown in our demo page (it works the way shown in the demo):

Why we do it is explained in our documentation here:

So there would be no way to make it so I could grab the user data and pass it to the authorize.net processor and fill out those fields?

Or would there be a way so the check out form was spilt between 2 pages, so they fill out their shipping and contact on the frist page and the second page they would then enter their credit card info?

    Thanks!

I’m also interested in this topic. My client wants to collect certain contact information from his customers. I saw that there’s a Customers section of this plugin that supposedly collects the customer information from PayPal. Thus far in my testing it hasn’t done so. How do I get this to work? Is it possible to add custom fields?

@artyarty1, eStore collects all the details from ONE page (this is the page on the payment gateway’s page). Idea is that, the less pages a customer has to go through to get to the “Thank You” page, the better it is for conversion. Go to the demo page URL I shared above, add a product to the cart then checkout via auth.net which will give you an idea of how a checkout works with eStore. It won’t do anything else other than what is shown in our demo. I understand that you may have a slightly different need based on your situation but eStore won’t do what you are asking unfortunately.

@ChristyMcD, Can you please tell me what custom information you want to collect for an order?

We’d like to collect such information as Business Name, Address, City, State, Phone Number, general customer information that goes a little beyond the general purchase information.

HI. This is exactly what I’m looking for. Has this been implemented yet, or do you have an ETA?

I want to collect shipping info plus a custom field of instructions for a courier (in case no-one is home).

    Thank you!!

This hasn’t been implemented yet. Please check the suggestion from the following documentation page which might help you with an workaround for what you are trying to do:

    Hi,

I too am interested in this. We are at a small museum and selling things like memberships, day camps and birthday parties, and I am currently using Ninja forms in conjunction with eStore. Problem is that some department heads don’t like the 2 email system and are requesting I look into a more streamlined plugin.

We are small enough that eStore otherwise works for our needs.

Any thoughts to a time frame for this that I can hold them off with?

    Thanks

    Hi,

2 years ago Admin said they were working on this feature. Has it been implemented yet, or is there a way to integrate more smoothly with something like Ninja Forms?

    Thank you.
