Please disregard my last post, which was inaccurate. I see that the method was changed to method 6 and that it is now downloading the full file size files, however it is still converting to a very large “. cpgz”. I’m sure you are aware of this, but I wanted to post this to replace my last post.
Thanks,
Shawn
pwradioMemberHi guys,
Right now the problem appears to be resolved. Did you do anything or am I facing an intermittent problem?
pwradioMemberOk, thanks. I assume you’ll pass the info to Amin? Should I provide any server or admin login information in advance?
Would you recommend checking with Startlogic support? If so, what might be some good things for them to look at?
Thanks for putting the time into this!
Shawn
pwradioMemberFirst ones were reported by a customer:
“I’m just after purchasing … but the download link for the MP3 zipfile failed to appear. Instead there was a message saying that the payment failed to be processed.”
Then she got the email with the link. Of course the link was faulty.
In terms of what I’ve seen, I cannot recall the error messages. Mostly, however, I enter a link and it sits for a minute or more before sending the “empty” .zip file.
I checked the error logs on my server, but there is nothing… in case that matters.
pwradioMemberI THINK I am self hosting? I have my own server space through Startlogic.
pwradioMemberThanks. Its all set to default: Absolute and Method 1. I changed to relative, but nothing seemed to change. Thoughts?
pwradioMemberHi,
Sorry, I take it back. It let me download one file and went back to not letting me download. Soooo… Where can I find the Absolute or Relative DL path conversion preference? And… why would it convert one but not the next?
Thanks
pwradioMemberI think I found the problem. I turned off the fancy paypal redirect that says it may conflict with plugins, and suddenly the download worked. I’ll get back to you if there are any more issues, thanks!
pwradioMemberThanks for the quick response. Where do I find that?
pwradioMemberHi,
The issue is that when the “Your Price” box is checked, and the “your Price” Window present, the variation stops working such that only the base price is represented in the shopping cart.
Thanks
pwradioMemberHi,
http://records.pwradio.net/test/
The two products are mostly identical. You’ll see that the test product has a “Your Price” box, and the actual item does not.
Thanks

pwradioMemberHi,
Just to add to this topic, I discovered a glitch in my store where you cannot have pricing variations AND “Your Price” active at the same time. Its not a horrible problem, but it may be one to address if there is a simple solution.
If it matters, I am using the WP theme Twenty-Ten Weaver.
Thanks
pwradioMemberHi,
I googled “float a div” and have been playing around with it today. THANKS for the heads up on that!
For anyone interested who doesn’t know how to program in CSS (I didn’t until today), it is likely that I’ll have this up for some time. See http://records.pwradio.net. To get the player next to the image, I did something like this:
<div>
<div style=”float: left; width: 95%;”>Listen to or purchase music from Joe Artist! </div>
<div style=”float: left;width:30%”>Song </div>
<div style=”float: left;width:40%”> [wp_eStore_audio_player src = “http://pwradio.net/link_to.MP3”%5D </div>
<div style=”float: left; width: 25%;”> [wp_eStore:product_id:8:end] </div>
</div>
pwradioMemberHi. I get that it will be on its own line, but it is placing itself well below the thumbnail image. If you look at the link you will see it several lines below the text. I didn’t write it that way.
Or are you saying that it will always be below the image?
I don’t know what a div is, but when you say “Did you put the audio player in a separate div and float that div?” are you suggesting a way to make it work the way I need it to?
Thanks
