pwradio
MemberHi,
I am running eStore 4.8.9. It is “official” on http://records.pwradio.net , and used as a utility (and currently a “backup link maker”) at http://pwradio.net.
The most recent customer was unable to download the link from the http://records.pwradio.net site, and subsequently links I have tried to make in the admin section also do not work. Links I create at the admin for http://pwradio.net work just fine.
Here’s the error message:
This webpage is not available
The webpage at http://records.pwradio.net/_record_bin/download.php?file=1N9tya2jeDiWY70wPw%3D%3D might be temporarily
down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
Error 346 (net::ERR_RESPONSE_HEADERS_MULTIPLE_CONTENT_LENGTH): Unknown error.
I have done a bunch of poking around, but I can’t figure out the problem.
Can you help?
Thanks,
Shawn

MemberInteresting note: The links seem to work on Safari, but not on Chrome. The links made at http://pwradio.net seem to work fine on Chrome.

ParticipantFirst try the different download methods to see how you go:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/wp-estore-download-methods
You seem to have customized your download validation script location. We have no way of knowing what errors you introduced when you customized the download validation script location. So if the above doesn’t work then you need to reset the download validation script’s location to default.
Please deactivate and delete this copy of the plugin then get a fresh build from here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
You will need to do network deactivate and reactivate since this is a multisite install.
After the update, follow this instruction to reset the download validation scripts location to default value:

ModeratorA google search for “error 346” seems to indicate this is a Chrome problem, that is still under investigation/denial.

MemberHi,
I changed the validation script location earlier this morning only to see if things would work that way. Since your last post I have changed it back.
I upgraded to v5.8.0 and I now have different problems.
on http://records.pwradio.net the encrypted link opens a Link Not Found page.
on http://pwradio.net the admin function page will not generate ANY links.
On “records…” I tried several download methods all with the same results. I didn’t do this on the second site yet.
WZP: Looks like when this is resolved, I should clearly document “Don’t download using Chrome”. Thanks for the info.

ModeratorPlease enable and reset the debug logs. Check download_manager_debug.log file for clues.
Specifically, when links ARE generated, we want to see what the progress is, of the link decryption and download process.

MemberDon’t I feel dumb. The eStore plugin file was uploaded with an incorrect name due to the unzip problem in my computer’s download file.
Soooo, at least on http://records.pwradio.net we’re back to square 1. Not downloading on Chrome. Any thoughts?
Thanks, and sorry about that!
