MemberSend me your zip file via email – or if it’s too big can you make a similar one using the same technique but with only a handful of photos so I can test it on my site.

Memberthe plugin says there are only 2 files in the folder
You need to put the photos in the root of the zip file – are you doing that?

MemberPlease provide a live example which illustrates each of these problems. Otherwise we can’t really understand what the nature of the issue is and how to reproduce it.

MemberUpdate:
I added “/cart” in the supercache plugin setting to force it not to cache the cart page and it appears to be working fine now.

MemberI just logged into your site and did some tests which prove to me that it is your host or some other caching mechanism which is causing the issue.
For example, I added a line in the cart code which simply prints a text string as soon as the page is loaded. When I reloaded the page in the browser where I had an existing product in the cart, the expected echo statement did not appear. However when I tried from a totally different browser, the test text string appeared.
Another test I did was when i disabled the wordfence plugin, I noticed that the page was still executing wordfence functionality even though I had disabled the plugin. Only new browser sessions showed the updated behaviour.
This suggests to me that your server has some kind of caching enabled for existing sessions, ie, users already currently viewing your site.
This is something you will need to talk to your host support guys about because I know it is definitely not something that we can fix in the plugin.

MemberOk thanks for info and that’s good to hear that you’ve resolved it – I was actually going ask you next to do some php session tests but you beat me to it
Peter
MemberI will send you an email to take a closer look.

MemberI went through and would deactivate a plug in and test
The way you are doing the test is probably confusing you.
Can you try and deactivate ALL other plugins and just leave the photo seller active and then try the cart test?
Then activate one of the plugins and try another cart test. Repeat this and activate one plugin at a time and you should see which is causing the issue.
Also, you should ask your host provider to see if they are doing any form of caching on the server.

Member“Is it possible for a client to purchase photos from multiple galleries in one shopping cart?”
Yes of course. This is standard behaviour. However there’s something not quite right on your site. Even when one adds photos from the same gallery at different times they don’t all appear in the cart page unless you click update cart.
I think there might be a plugin conflict. Please do the following tests:

“Is there a way to set up a minimum order requirement so that the cart will give an error message if the customer hasn’t reached the minimum total?”
No sorry currently the photo seller does not have such a feature.

MemberHi Sven,
Thanks for the suggestions – they are useful.
Currently what you are asking for isn’t available and it will need to be implemented. Although it may seem like a straightforward thing, it isn’t and we will need to actually think about how we would do it.

MemberYou are probably actually running out of physical space on that server. (Note: this is different to the 256M PHP memory_limit you referred to)
I suggest you contact your host support and they will be able to help you.

MemberAhh I see. I just realised that when we implemented this shortcode we only had one album template at the time (template 1). Therefore currently this will work only for template 1. Please change your album template to be template 1 for now and in a day or two I will implement this for template 2 also.

MemberSounds like you are still using the old version because that was the bug I fixed in the latest update.
I just tested this again now and it works as expected.
It may be that I accidentally sent you an old zip file.
I’m going to send it to you again just in case I sent you an old version.
