I’ll give that a try. Thank you so much.
PChipMemberExtra Info for the above request…..
All shortened links generated from the estore are now disabled by google.
No matter if the product was ordered today or in the past.
It’s as if my entire site as been banned. Interesting.
I’m still researching google to see if it’s something about my site/domain that is causing this to happen.
PChipMemberI have found where I was going wrong. And I’ll update that info here in case others experience the same thing.
~ Firstly, to clarify – I was not changing the actual file name. I was changing the name of the photo in the gallery/media library where I also added detailed description to the photo.
I wasn’t getting the changes expected across the board, because I had already added that photo to other galleries BEFORE I made the title/description changes. So the duplicate photos the system generates…. well they weren’t being changed because (as you clearly stated above) they are actually separate files. The confusion of how/when to add photo details for best results was on my end.
Lesson learned:
> Immediately after uploading photos into the library make all title/description changes wanted BEFORE the photo is added to any other galleries. That way (if the photo is added to another gallery down the line) the added info will be duplicated at the same time the photo is duplicated for the second/third/fourth gallery, etc.
> Also, if you have this same photo in multiple galleries and opt to make a change to it somewhere along the line – those changes will only affect the copy(s) of that photo that you go in a manually update. It doesn’t update all the same pictures in all those galleries across the board because (as Peter has taught us) each instance of that picture is a different file on the server.
Peter – Thanks for your patience with me. Had to feel this one through myself before I finally got it.

PChipMemberThat would be a good feature to have. I look forward to seeing it in the future too.
PChipMemberSo here’s my question/comments on this same issue.
When I load a photo into the media library and attach it to a gallery all is good. I can change the title of the photo, add description, etc.
If I add that same photo to another gallery, the program makes a copy – but doesn’t transfer the title and description tweaks I made on the first photo. So now I have to go back in and create that all over again.
Is there a step I’m missing on that?
===========
Example:
I upload and add picture of buffalo to gallery called “Buffalo”. Then change the file name from buffalo-2010-a.jpg to “Buffalo on a Hill” and I add a description of the picture.
Now I want to add this same photo (and all the data associated with it) to gallery called “Yellowstone Natl Park” and to the gallery called “Animals”.
===========
Is there a way to do that without me having to re-type the description and change the photo title on all three of those instances of the gallery entries?
Thank you for any assistance you can offer.
PChipMemberHow did I miss that? Totally awesome!
Thanks.
September 19, 2012 at 4:38 am in reply to: Customer not directed to Thank-you page when using Buy Now with free items #49424PChipMember@leirpoll – I am doing a similar thing and am having success by using the squeeze page form to collect the leads info and when they click the “download now” button on the squeeze page form – they are re-directed to a thank you page where I present them with the “download now” button for the freebie item so they can download it immediately. Because I used the squeeze form a download link is still generated and sent to their email addy also.
Note: This is not a 100% lead capture solution because the thank you page that they are re-directed to is not a protected URL. So ultimately the thank you page url could be shared without your knowledge and people visiting it directly would be bypassing your e-store squeeze page form. If your product download count starts going up but your lead capture counts do not, then you’ll know your thank you page link has probably been leaked out to the public. You could always reset your slug (on the thank you page) and the redirect URL at that point if you wanted to.
Second Note: In this case – the Thank You/download page for the free item is NOT the same as the one for purchased products. It’s a page that’s used for the free item only.
The better solution might be to use a 3rd-party auto-responder service and create a mailing campaign with re-directions set up to protected pages.
Hope that helps to give you some ideas.

PChipMemberI’ll add my vote to this as well. It’s one of the few options I really liked in ZenCart. LOL
PChipMemberThank you so very much! I so appreciate your talents and support.
September 10, 2012 at 1:38 pm in reply to: Price appearing on separate line from the word "Price" in Chrome only. #49178PChipMemberI’m seeing same issue in Safari browser (v 6.0) using Elegance theme LeanBiz.
It appears on the same line just fine in FireFox using same theme.

PChipMemberThank you so very much! Looking forward to the update when it’s completed. You’re the best!
PChipMemberIs there a way we can set the redirect page on a per-product basis when using a “buy now” button? And same feature option for the Squeeze Page redirect (for those of us not using a 3rd party auto-responder for redirections)?
