I noticed that Fancy Redirection works only when customers use “Add to Cart” button and proceed to checkout, but not with “Buy Now” button. Is there any way to use Fancy Redirection for “Buy Now” button?
Thanks in advance for your help.
March 1, 2012 at 10:35 pm #42546adminKeymasterThe “Fancy Redirection on Checkout” is a shopping cart feature so it only applies for shopping cart checkout. Buy Now type buttons bypasses the shopping cart altogether.
September 9, 2012 at 2:48 pm #42547PChipMemberIs there a way we can set the redirect page on a per-product basis when using a “buy now” button? And same feature option for the Squeeze Page redirect (for those of us not using a 3rd party auto-responder for redirections)?

September 10, 2012 at 7:23 am #42548adminKeymasterYes, you can use the “return URL” on a per product basis when using a “Buy Now” button. You can specify a product specific return URL under the “Buy Now or Subscription Type Button Specific Settings” section of the product.
Regarding your squeeze form question… I will reply to that question in you other thread where you asked this question:

February 8, 2013 at 7:39 pm #42549web_adminSpectatorIs there a way to edit the code to enable the Fancy Redirection for subscribe and buy now? I need to inform the user they are being redirected. Where would I find the Buy now/subscribe button code?
February 9, 2013 at 3:22 am #42550adminKeymasterThe PayPal buy now and subscription buttons that you embed using eStore works just the same way a standard PayPal Buy Now or Subscription button would work. Those buttons do not require a special redirection and hence doesn’t have any option of fancy redirection. You click on that button and you get sent to PayPal’s payment page (it is a standard feature of PayPal).
March 9, 2015 at 4:31 pm #42551andeMemberIs there any way to use the “return URL” on a per product basis when using an “Add To Cart” button? I have a specific product, that when customers purchase, I need to direct to a different Thank You page after they purchase. But I need to use the Add to Cart button for this product, not the Buy Now or Subscription button.
March 9, 2015 at 4:46 pm #42552wzpModeratorThat won’t work, because with the cart, there’s the potential for conflicting return pages. Which one should get the highest priority? If a cart has 20 products, with 20 different Thank You pages, should we suddenly open 20 tabs on the buyer’s browser (PayPal won’t allow you to do it anyway)?
