Hello, I can’t find the way to set a thumbnail image to a gallery folder , how may I do that?
January 30, 2014 at 12:45 am #60585PeterMemberCurrently there is no setting for this. The plugin will automatically set the first image of the gallery as the thumbnail which will represent that gallery.
We have plans to introduce a new feature in a future update where the admin can set the thumb image.
March 18, 2014 at 8:05 pm #60586PChipMemberThat would be a good feature to have. I look forward to seeing it in the future too.
March 19, 2014 at 6:54 am #60587adminKeymasterThis feature is being worked on so it will be available in our next version of the plugin.
March 20, 2014 at 5:04 pm #60588magoosmcMemberI have used your videos, read the forums ans am still missing something…
I am attempting to add additional galleries, each designated by event/date. I can’t seem to add more than one gallery. When I attempt to add a second, or additional gallery I end up with the original gallery followed by a series of photos instead of new galleries.
What am I overlooking?

Thanks

Did you do the following steps?
1) Go to the Gallery menu
2) Click the “Create New Gallery” button
3) Configure your new gallery and upload your photos.
4) Save your gallery by clicking the “Save Gallery” page
If so, what behaviour are you seeing?
March 24, 2014 at 4:50 pm #60590magoosmcMemberThanks! – Problem solved. I think that I was confusing “albums” with “galleries”.
When I upload photos to a gallery it states “Maximum upload file size: 2MB”. The digital images that I want to offer average 10-12mb in size. Is there a global setting that will allow me to upload larger files?

May 9, 2019 at 5:05 pm #60592thehappyhombreMemberHello, I bought this plugin and need some information. I tried the support but having problems getting anything.
So here is what I need to know? Is this plugin a replacement for gallery to work with word press theme ? Or does it function as a theme as well…Cant tell?
If its a plugin…what WordPress theme for photographers is best to use?
Does this plugin work with premium themes?
If it is a gallery plugin and theme how to I set up blog.
Please respond as I have to make decisions for development.
May 10, 2019 at 4:41 am #60593adminKeymasterThis is a plugin. It creates its own photo galleries and allows the customers to purchase your photos. You can use any theme you want. It generally works with most themes. There maybe some themes where it has a conflict due to the styles a particular theme is using but that will be a very small subset.
The following page has a video that gives you an overview of how it works. There is also links to demo that you can use to see this plugin in action:

May 17, 2019 at 3:10 am #60595wzpModeratorBy default, it is the first gallery image; unless you specify the “Gallery Thumb ID.”
