Ah yes, I do remember now that the folder protection is dependent on htaccess but we are not having issues with all users, just a small subset. That is why I think it has something to do with their specific browser settings (although I have tried modifying a ton of them myself and cannot duplicate the issue). I was just hoping that you might have seen something like this before. I will get back with the users and see if they can check their extensions.
May 27, 2022 at 10:40 pm in reply to: Download Folder Protection Login Form Blocked by Browser #84422mpnincSpectatorWouldn’t they have an issue logging in if that was the case? Maybe this is inconsequential, but there does not seem to be a problem navigating to pages that are protected with eMember, only when downloading. The popup displays for just a second and then disappears.
mpnincSpectatorIt works perfectly. Thank you so much!
mpnincSpectatorThank you for your reply but I am not sure what you mean by “Is the add_action() function in a part of your theme’s functions.php file, that is actually being parsed, when the form is displayed?” How do I even know? Is there a certain place in functions.php that the add_action() function needs to be?
mpnincSpectatorThank you very much for the great explanation! I appreciate you taking the time to lay it all out in a way that is easily understandable.
December 7, 2019 at 5:05 am in reply to: New Member Licensing Acknowledgement on Initial Login #80178mpnincSpectatorOur members do not register themselves. Registrations are done manually after they purchase a specific product which allows access to private pages and content. So, there is no way for the user/member to see the Terms & Conditions on the membership registration form.
December 6, 2019 at 6:48 pm in reply to: New Member Licensing Acknowledgement on Initial Login #80176mpnincSpectatorAnother option might be to add a checkbox acknowledging the terms of service on the login form itself. I would consider this as well even if it did mean that every user would have to check the box before logging in. Again, your assistance is appreciated. Thank you.
February 26, 2016 at 5:04 am in reply to: eMember custom field sorting with profile extended addon? #62252mpnincSpectatorI apologize. It is available now. The full URL that I tried was
[http://www.exitmap.com/affiliate-directory/?orderby=advisor_type&order=desc].
February 25, 2016 at 2:42 pm in reply to: eMember custom field sorting with profile extended addon? #62250mpnincSpectatorI tried this solution but could not get it to work for me. In theory, I should be able to test it by placing the URL with the “orderby” details in the navigation bar but I consistently get “No items found.” There must be something more that I need to do in order to get the field sortable. I am trying to sort by Advisor Type. [http://www.exitmap.com/affiliate-directory/] I would appreciate any help or insights. Thank you.
mpnincSpectatorYes, that did the trick. I can see the link to the wp-eMember profile now. Thank you!
September 17, 2015 at 12:44 pm in reply to: Admin email notification after membership upgrade #71203mpnincSpectatorThank you. I am glad to be able to track down the eMember associated with the purchase. While I can see the eMember User ID field which contains the number that matches the eMember profile, I do not see a link to click that will open that eMember profile. Where is that exactly?
Another option that would work for us is to be able to embed the username of the customer who was logged in when they made the purchase into the confirmation email. I do not see the {username} option in the list of available email tags. If we could place that in the confirmation email from eStore, that would work nicely. Thanks again.
mpnincSpectatorThank you!
mpnincSpectatorI am running Form Builder 2.9. I am having the same issue with the confirmation emails being sent to the users. Each line is flanked with html code which ultimately shows up in the client confirmation. Please advise.
