eMember custom field sorting with profile extended addon?

Is there any way to add “sorbability” to the “Custom Fields” on the Summery list page? My members list page has the following fields: [emember_extended_summary_list fields=”first_name,last_name,High_School,Graduation_Year,Maiden_Name_”]. While on that page, you can sort the list by “First Name” or “Last Name”, but NOT “High School” or “Graduation Year” by clicking on those table headers – (have a feeling this is because they are part of the core field settings while the others are Custom Field settings). I would like members to be able to sort by: “High School” or “Graduation Year”?

Any help would be appreciated.

You could make navigation links that uses an URL like the following (when someone clicks on that link, it will short the profile list by “High School”):

your-domain.com/summary-page-url/?orderby=High_School&order=asc

If you share the URL of your profile listing page, I can take a look and very that the above will work.

I tried this solution but could not get it to work for me. In theory, I should be able to test it by placing the URL with the “orderby” details in the navigation bar but I consistently get “No items found.” There must be something more that I need to do in order to get the field sortable. I am trying to sort by Advisor Type. [http://www.exitmap.com/affiliate-directory/] I would appreciate any help or insights. Thank you.

That page looks to be protected. Temporarily unprotect that page so we can troubleshoot. What is the FULL URL that you have tried to do the sorting by your custom field?

I apologize. It is available now. The full URL that I tried was

I just realized that the profile extended addon can’t do any sorting on custom field unfortunately (there are some technical limitation). The main purpose of that profile extended addon is to just be able to show a simple listing of users.
