Thanks, all sorted.
Karen ClarkMemberCan you explain why this happens? I suddenly started getting this error 99 as well, a customer told me when they tried to check out. I did the above and replaced the Transaction Key but it concerns me that my cart would suddenly stop working like this. What causes it and how can we prevent it? I guess I will need to test my cart daily to make sure things are working properly or is there some kind of magic plugin for that?
Karen ClarkMemberThank you – That was it! Whew! We now have it working at http://www.socialmediafordirectselling.com/testing/
Thanks!
Karen ClarkMemberJust to be clear – nothing had changed on either the site or on authorize – we were just getting ready to do a big email blast so decided to test the process one last time, when we discovered this. So it was working after the last fresh-install, and then suddenly it was not, sometime after 3/8/12.
Today when we discovered this, we did go request a new build and then re-installed it via FTP following the instructions, but it still doesn’t work.
Is there someone we can talk to or can we give you admin access to go in there and see what’s going on? We need to get this email blast out ASAP since it is tied to a webinar happening Thursday.
THANKS
Karen ClarkMemberHelp – we are having this trouble with this again! Here is the debug file you will see some worked until the testing ones. So we did a rebuild and still, the return URL is not working – it sends customer to the home page after the sale, masked with the authorize URL.
Here is the debug file – the site is socialmediafordirectselling.com and if you use code TESTING it brings it to a 1 cent test. Please help.

March 23, 2012 at 11:42 pm in reply to: Error when checking out in Chrome: "(5) A valid amount is required." #43343Karen ClarkMemberI just had the same problem in Safari as well.
The following errors have occurred.
(5) A valid amount is required.
March 23, 2012 at 11:41 pm in reply to: Error when checking out in Chrome: "(5) A valid amount is required." #43342Karen ClarkMemberStrange – I do. I have version 17.0.963.83 and it says it is up to date. The customer also had the same problem in Firefox but I don’t have it there myself.
March 19, 2012 at 11:53 pm in reply to: Merchant Email Receipt from Authorize says "cart checkout" instead of item descr #43116Karen ClarkMemberSure – that would work!
March 19, 2012 at 9:48 pm in reply to: Merchant Email Receipt from Authorize says "cart checkout" instead of item descr #43114Karen ClarkMemberI would like it to actually have the purchase description – what the person bought. Isn’t that what it is supposed to have? The receipt has nothing about what they bought, only their contact info.
March 17, 2012 at 2:28 pm in reply to: Merchant Email Receipt from Authorize says "cart checkout" instead of item descr #43111Karen ClarkMemberI’m sorry it is http://www.mybusinessprsence.com You can try it on the books/CDs etc. under Products if you like. Or if you use http://www.mybusinesspresence.com/online-meetings-direct-sales/ you can use discount code TESTINGWOW to make it a 1 cent test.
I am using the regular authorize.net gateway that comes with eStore I think (not sure what AIM even is so I think I’m not using it!?) Oh I do have a separate plugin called WP eStore & Authorize.net – is that what you mean?
This is the merchant email receipt from the 1 cent test I did (it is the same on regular orders when there are products too and it doesn’t matter that I left address etc blank for this test)
THANKS!
Karen

Karen ClarkMemberThat worked! THANK YOU!
Karen ClarkMemberTHANK YOU installing a fresh build did the trick!
Karen ClarkMemberOK I will try that. Just noticed another site I have is having the same problem – no emails are being sent out by the plugin. I will try fresh installation. Thanks.
Karen ClarkMemberTried with a $1 product, same problem. No emails are going out and by the way with all the testing we have done today NONE of the purchases have registered as customers… The payments go through Authorize fine and we get a merchant receipt but no plugin emails and no add to database, and still having thank you page issue. Is there a way I can have someone go in and look?
Karen ClarkMemberCould it have something to do with the “Wrong Product Price Detected”? We have a $197 product and I am using a discount code TESTING which takes off 196.99 leaving us a $0.01 product, however for some reason it looks like it is setting the price to 0.0099999999 Could this be messing everything up?
