Help – The page the buyer is sent to after purchase is the main home page, but we specified a /thank-you/ page instead. I’ve checked all settings and tested probably 8 times with a 1 cent product but cannot get it to work. We are using Authorize.net as only payment option – I tried it on another site and it worked fine but on this one it won’t work:
http://www.socialmediafordirectselling.com/register-now/ If you put in code TESTING you will get the 1 cent version. Let me know what we can do, we have some affiliates that will be sending lots of sales and we need the thank-you page because it sends gives them a next step. Thank you!
PS: Just to be clear the process IS working, and after payment from Auth.net it does send them back to the home page, and we have the /thank-you/ page as the relay/response there, but it keeps sending us back to the Home instead of the /thank-you/

The following post sounds like a similar error to yours and may shed more light on the solution:

February 26, 2012 at 12:24 am #42300Karen ClarkMemberCould it have something to do with the “Wrong Product Price Detected”? We have a $197 product and I am using a discount code TESTING which takes off 196.99 leaving us a $0.01 product, however for some reason it looks like it is setting the price to 0.0099999999 Could this be messing everything up?
February 26, 2012 at 12:42 am #42301Karen ClarkMemberTried with a $1 product, same problem. No emails are going out and by the way with all the testing we have done today NONE of the purchases have registered as customers… The payments go through Authorize fine and we get a merchant receipt but no plugin emails and no add to database, and still having thank you page issue. Is there a way I can have someone go in and look?
February 26, 2012 at 11:21 pm #42302adminKeymasterIf there is a failure in the post payment processing then nothing will work with that transaction until that failure is taken care of.
Please try loading a fresh build of the plugin first:

February 27, 2012 at 2:23 am #42303Karen ClarkMemberOK I will try that. Just noticed another site I have is having the same problem – no emails are being sent out by the plugin. I will try fresh installation. Thanks.
February 29, 2012 at 7:14 pm #42304Karen ClarkMemberTHANK YOU installing a fresh build did the trick!
March 26, 2012 at 6:52 pm #42305Karen ClarkMemberHelp – we are having this trouble with this again! Here is the debug file you will see some worked until the testing ones. So we did a rebuild and still, the return URL is not working – it sends customer to the home page after the sale, masked with the authorize URL.
Here is the debug file – the site is socialmediafordirectselling.com and if you use code TESTING it brings it to a 1 cent test. Please help.

March 27, 2012 at 3:41 am #42306Karen ClarkMemberJust to be clear – nothing had changed on either the site or on authorize – we were just getting ready to do a big email blast so decided to test the process one last time, when we discovered this. So it was working after the last fresh-install, and then suddenly it was not, sometime after 3/8/12.
Today when we discovered this, we did go request a new build and then re-installed it via FTP following the instructions, but it still doesn’t work.
Is there someone we can talk to or can we give you admin access to go in there and see what’s going on? We need to get this email blast out ASAP since it is tied to a webinar happening Thursday.
THANKS
March 27, 2012 at 6:39 am #42307adminKeymasterYou actually don’t have an issue. The issue is arising from the way you are testing. See the following line from the debug:
[03/26/2012 6:40 PM] - FAILURE :Paid Product Price : 0.00999999999999
When you are selling real products are real price you won’t see this issue.
Instead of the way you are applying coupon to do that 1 cent thing, simply create a test product with a price of $0.01 then purchase that product. Let me know how you go after that.
March 27, 2012 at 7:36 pm #42308Karen ClarkMemberThank you – That was it! Whew! We now have it working at http://www.socialmediafordirectselling.com/testing/
Thanks!
