June 17, 2011 at 6:23 am in reply to: Help! Mailchimp integration not working – I've tried everything #33492Karen ClarkMemberNevermind – found it in the payment gateway setting for manual payments, I had not checked the box to send to autoresponder automatically. Sorry to bother you.
June 17, 2011 at 6:16 am in reply to: Help! Mailchimp integration not working – I've tried everything #33491Karen ClarkMemberMore info – it does not work on a paid test item using the MANUAL method. So now I am assuming that since the $0.00 priced item I’m trying to get to work ALSO uses the Manual method, that is why. Could it be because there is no confirmation of payment? The price is 0. I do not want to use a squeeze page form since this is a live teleclass that I am offering free, not a download. Thanks.
June 17, 2011 at 5:45 am in reply to: Help! Mailchimp integration not working – I've tried everything #33490Karen ClarkMemberMore info – I decided to add a fake $1 test product in there to test the payments etc. and voila Mailchimp works with a PAID product but not with a $0.00 product. I was trying to not use the ‘squeeze page’ form because I want this to be a cart item, collecting similar info, and same appearance as the other cart items. Does Mailchimp signups not work with 0 priced items? Any way around this or is it another issue?
June 15, 2011 at 8:56 pm in reply to: The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the #33300Karen ClarkMemberI am sorry, I took it off and made it a regular add to cart item, and will charge the 2nd payments manually. But if I wanted to change it back, I am not sure how. The price was set to 137.00. I can’t recall what I had in the lower Subscription/Recurring Payment section but I was trying to get it charge $137 now at the time of purchase and $137 15 days later. If you could let me know the correct settings for that I can try again. I am launching this Thursday so I panicked and just took it off. Thanks!
PS: Should there be 0.00 in the price and then $137 below with 2 occurances? Maybe I did it wrong. Thanks!
June 12, 2011 at 11:09 pm in reply to: The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid #27220Karen ClarkMemberI discontinuted paypal on my other website and changed the return URL to the correct one for this new website and set up all the other pages as listed above, still getting the error. Can anyone help?
June 12, 2011 at 10:37 am in reply to: The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid #27219Karen ClarkMemberI am having this same error message. Trouble is I have multiple websites and only 1 paypal account. Must they all have the thank-you, cancel, and shopping-cart be on one website? Seems like that should not have to be so. Or must I create a new paypal for each website?
Karen ClarkMemberAn update – I found a post in here about a Thesis Theme conflict so I adjusted my CSS by adding this:
.custom .format_text input {
border-width:0.067em;
padding:0.2em;
width: auto;
}
But now my custom field input is in a weird place, and also the box seems to be ending in a strange place too (the fancy display box).
Also – is there any way to make the add to cart buttons be right justified, as well as the payment gateway buttons? They seem funky to me on the left.
