Ok, is there a way for the eStore to create an eMember user / WordPress subscriber by capturing the clients details from Paypal once the transaction has completed? If that is possible then I wouldn’t need the registration form.

It would seem quite silly to me for the eStore not to capture client details when they buy from me. What if the client needs support or assistance down the road?

I have no problem with a double opt in. I’m saying that the first opt in isn’t happening at the moment… I’d like to know if one can add a check-box that is ticked by default when the customer goes through checkout (I assume this would be through eMember) and that can be ‘unticked’ if the customer doesn’t want to subscribe from the start?

I have tested it both on my hosted version and on my local machine using Xampp and am able to replicated the issue. I also attempted to change the read/write permissions too.

Perhaps and update might work, but I believe 4.3.0 is the latest version.

Thanks for the response. I’m using WP eMembers – Dashboard v5.6.7

I placed the line using the [wp_eMember_compact_login] shortcode, into a page.

Now that I have created a protected post with the above shortcode inside it seems to work just fine: [http://www.robotdwarf.com/uncategorized/hello-world]

But why does it not work on a normal page to simply allow users to login?

In answer to your points:

1) ‘Use Strict PayPal Email Address Checking’ is not checked (Screenshot: http://robotdwarf.com/paymentsetting.jpg)

2) seller@paypalsandbox.com is not my email, had it been the correct sandbox email, the transaction probably would’ve succeeded.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter if I use sandbox or my live paypal account, as it always redirects to a blank page after checkout (Screenshot:http://robotdwarf.com/checkoutscreen.jpg)

The only reason I managed to get any output in the IPN file was because I followed your troubleshooting steps.
