MemberI tried using the fancy login here: [http://www.robotdwarf.com/register]
But when you click on login it redirects to the login page instead of displaying the javascript popup as it does on your demo site.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
John

ParticipantIt appears that you haven’t enabled the fancy login display from the settings menu. When the fancy login is active hovering over the “Login” link should not display the target URL. It should show “Javascript….” in the status bar.
How did you place that login line in the middle of the page? What version of the plugin are you using?
Can you please protect a post on your site and send me a link to that post?

MemberHi again,
Thanks for the response. I’m using WP eMembers – Dashboard v5.6.7
I placed the line using the [wp_eMember_compact_login] shortcode, into a page.
Now that I have created a protected post with the above shortcode inside it seems to work just fine: [http://www.robotdwarf.com/uncategorized/hello-world]
But why does it not work on a normal page to simply allow users to login?
Thanks,
John

ParticipantThe compact login didn’t have the fancy login option. I just added it in so you should be good now.

MemberI am having the same problem. I have fancy login enabled. and here is the code I have on my login page [wp_eMember_login_form:end]. I have other text on that page as well, I don’t know if that matters. my website is amongst.tv. I do not have full posts protected, but only sections of them. When I click on login to view this content it directs me to my login page instead of the widget popping up. Also if you login from login page it does not redirect me to the page I was on, but instead to a category page. I have login redirect enabled but no page specifications. If I do not enable login redirect it keeps them on the login page after they are finished. Any help would be great. Thanks!
