No I am not using this pay addon.
Can I see the registration form and member profile created by this addon?
Is there a way to achieve the same without using it?March 3, 2020 at 5:03 pm in reply to: Giving Users other than Admin (eg. Editor) Access to eMember's Admin Dashboard #22837
Yes the memberAdmin user is in WP-User and assigned the role of Editor.March 2, 2020 at 5:11 pm in reply to: Giving Users other than Admin (eg. Editor) Access to eMember's Admin Dashboard #22835
Hello, I try to set up a membership level to allow administration of membership. I cannot see the eMember Dashboard at that level. Here are my steps in creating the new level:
Steps to set up member to administer eMemberships
– Saved Editor Role under Admin Functions
– Created a membership level (memberAdmin)and assiged the WP Editor role
– Assigned a member to the memberAdmin level
– Under Settings:– Hide Admin Toolbar for All Except Admins: Checked (I don’t want members to see the WP dashboard)
– But no eMember dashboard is display for the memberAdmin member.
Is my setup correct? Did I miss anything?
My theme is Astra. I was able to put the Fancy Login page in the menu bar and the fancy login screen display ok. I like it so much that I want the Compact Login widget to display the fancy login screen when its login link is clicked. So is there a way I can replace the compact login screen url link with my Fancy Login screen page url?February 28, 2020 at 6:40 pm in reply to: Expired and Inactive members still showing up on the Members List #64759
I see, under Members Menu I don’t have inactive status. I do have expired status. I put in the shortcode filtered on expired status and it works. How’s a member becomes inactive?
When I load the Member List, the list is displayed. But below the Footer bar, there is an error message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare get_submit_button() (previously declared in /app/public/wp-content/plugins/emember-profile-extended/class.emember-profilex.list-table.php:12) in /app/public/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 2363
What corrective action I should take? Is it a bug?
Hi, I use the compact login code (<?php echo eMember_compact_login_widget(); ?>) in the Above Header area. But the in-line display message is on the top left hand side. I would like to have the in-line message on the top right corner. How can I archive that?
My second question is: when I click login at the compact login widget, the login screen that comes out is compact. I use the fancy login shortcode on the menu as well. Is it possible to display the fancy login screen when the compact login widget is clicked. In other word linking the two and display the fancy login screen all the time.February 27, 2020 at 2:16 am in reply to: Expired and Inactive members still showing up on the Members List #64757
On the other side of the coin, how do I list expired/inactive members. I tried status=”inactive”, but return No items found.
Also is there a full list of parameters and their acceptable values available for this add-on? It would come in handy.
Thanks I’ll give it a try.
Follow up on the question: I read it somewhere in this forum that after making modification on, say a style css file, make a copy using a different name but place it in emember.custom.style folder. This folder is still in the emember parent plugin folder. Is the custom folder safe when emember is updated??
Will the same be applied to modified php files?
No I don’t have eStore since we are not selling any products other than membership. By PayPal donation button you meant the one on PayPal site? I have not looked into that. Do I need to do something different in eMember.
One thing though, PayPal buttons are normal associated with one price. Is Donation Button different? I mean one can enter any donation amount?
Just straight no-string attached donation from registered members.
