eMember – Donation button using PayPal

I want members to be able to do donation from eMember using PayPal. Is it possible with eMember? If yes how do I go about implementing it? If no, what are the other viable options?

Are you asking about “straight no-strings donations,” or offering memberships in exchange for a donation?

Just straight no-string attached donation from registered members.

You can also use a plain-old PayPal donation button; that you create on PayPal.

No I don’t have eStore since we are not selling any products other than membership. By PayPal donation button you meant the one on PayPal site? I have not looked into that. Do I need to do something different in eMember.

One thing though, PayPal buttons are normal associated with one price. Is Donation Button different? I mean one can enter any donation amount?

1. Log into PayPal.

2. Tools –> All Tools –> PayPal Buttons –> Donate

Just follow the instructions, and place the button code where you want it.

They are configurable.
