Moderator“when I check the page that the lightbox is used on I just get a “You do not have WP Lightbox Special checkbox enabled in the settings” – Are you trying to use any Lightbox Special shortcode on a post/page but you don’t have the “Enable WP Lightbox Special” option checked in the General Settings?

ModeratorHi, prettyPhoto library doesn’t have any option to play mp4 video. You will have to use Flowplayer, HTML5 or Lightbox Special (which we don’t recommend) shortcode to play it.

ModeratorHi, I think your theme is applying inline CSS to overwrite our overlay window CSS. There is a white background on top of the lightbox window. It’s coming from –
<div id="exposeMask" style="position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; width: 1663px; height: 948px; display: none; opacity: 0.8; z-index: 9998; background-color: rgb(119, 136, 153);"></div>The properties are defined in –
element.style {
background-color: #778899;
display: none;
height: 948px;
left: 0;
opacity: 0.8;
position: absolute;
top: 0;
width: 1663px;
z-index: 9998;
}Have you tried any other Lightbox Ultimate shortcode (e.g. prettyPhoto, fancybox, colorbox)? or is it only happening to HTML5 shortcodes?

Moderatorsorry, my bad. Looks like Flowplayer can’t play SWF file. We are working on a shortcode so you can play private swf file stored on Amazon S3 (without using Flowplayer). I’ll get back to you once it is finished.

ModeratorHi, If you want to play Amazon S3 private video you have to either use flowplayer or HTML5 player. But HTML5 player won’t be able to play SWF file. So your option here is to use flowplayer shortcode (the one you are using to popup mp4 video).
February 23, 2012 at 1:06 am in reply to: Lightbox Ultimate – Use HTML code instead of shortcode #42141wpCommerce
ModeratorHi, You can’t pass any “oversrc” paramater in the shortcode. But what you can do is simply use the shortcode on a post/page:
[wp_lightbox_prettyPhoto_video link="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIW5oo-8NYw" description="description goes here" width="640" height="480" source="http://www.sample.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/sample.jpg" class="mouseover"]Publish the post/page and go to “View source” (right-click on your mouse)
You will be able to see the HTML code for the shortcode. It would be something like –
<div class="lightbox_ultimate_anchor lightbox_ultimate_image_anchor mouseover">
<a title="description goes here" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIW5oo-8NYw?width=640&height=480" rel="wp_lightbox_prettyPhoto"><img src="http://www.sample.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/sample.jpg" alt=""/></a>
</div>Copy the HTML code and make necessary changes to the <img…/> block. For example: adding width, height, oversrc to the source image.
<div class="lightbox_ultimate_anchor lightbox_ultimate_image_anchor mouseover">
<a title="description goes here" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIW5oo-8NYw?width=640&height=480" rel="wp_lightbox_prettyPhoto"><img src="http://www.sample.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/sample.jpg" alt="YouTube" width="275" height="183" oversrc="http://www.mattsiffert.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/antwerp.jpg"/></a>
</div>Now go to “HTML” view of the editor and paste the modified HTML code. Publish the post/page. That should do it.
Let me know how it goes.

February 21, 2012 at 12:08 am in reply to: Lightbox Ultimate – Mouseover effect for anchor image #42168wpCommerce
ModeratorHi, You don’t need to pass class=”lightbox_ultimate_image_anchor” in the shortcode. This is a global class for any lightbox shortcode with image anchor. So if you specify its attribute in the “wp_lightbox_ultimate_custom.css” file it will be applied automatically to all the image anchor shortcodes.
I know it’s possible to style the link with css (e.g. changing color). I’m not sure if you will be able to change the “href” value with css though (so it points to that link). And even if you do it using Javascript, there is a good chance that the shortcode will not work. You have to test it to see if it works.

ModeratorHi, first of all, whatever you are trying to do is not how the shortcode works. If you want to display multiple images in the overlay window you need to use multiple shortcodes linked to each of these images. Most importantly, they need to be embedded in the page via anchor texts or images (which is visible).
From your last thread it seems that you want to display multiple images in overlay but you don’t want to show their anchors. Unfortunately, you can’t just use one shortcode to display multiple images. So I gave you a quick workaround, which is to hide the rest of the anchors except one.
All you need to do is just include that css class once in our plugin’s custom stylesheet and pass the class name through each shortcode anchor you want to hide. That’s the easiest way we can offer for now.
1. The usual way (even harder) to do this would be – write your css class, include it in your own stylesheet (.css file), include that stylesheet when the page loads, create a new div with that class name and wrap the shortcode you want to hide(e.g. <div class=”my_hidden_block”>shortcode</div>).
2. Another way to do this would be – simply use the inline css to hide each shortcode (too much manual work). For example:
shortcode1 (not hidden)
<div style="display:none;">shortcode2</div>
<div style="display:none;">shortcode3</div>
<div style="display:none;">shortcode4</div>
