The idea I’m still unsure about is that after their initial trial payment they will only get 1 bill (no recurring bill after the 2nd payment

so eg

trial billing amount: $7

trial billing period: 7 days

Next and final bill: $23 on the 8th day is what I’m looking for here.

Recurring billing amount $23

Recurring billing cycle 1 day

Recurring billing count 1

Is this correct?

if i can have the restricted warning to give a link to register for this course under all circumstances that would be fine.

this assumes the link takes them to the join-us page where all the courses will be offered

I find the EMEMBER_CONTENT_RESTRICTED string on line 2 of the lang file.

How do I add a link here to the join-us page?

I added the 3 lines in the “Rejected Cookies” field under the “Page Cache” – but before and after there is this other error listed

W3 Total Cache Error: Files and directories could not be automatically created to complete the installation.

Following their directions I added some lines to .htaccess but the error remains.

I have read the link provided by Peter & have one question regarding squeeze pages.

In WP estore under “Addon Settings” there is a checkbox to capture lead on squeeze form submission.

Is this used in conjunction with the affiliate banner? Meaning, when the affiliate’s customers click on their affilate banner (and it sends them to our squeeze page and they buy the webinar) – their payments will be tracked and for the affiliate to earn their commission?

if folks sign up for one free product and their email is also stored in icontact campaign list(wp addon), and later they buy a product and their email address is also stored in a 2nd icontact campaign list – the icontact has nothing to do with wp affiliate remembering the customer and which affiliate they belong? ive tried uploading mp4 to S3 many times in chrome, firefox and safari because one of the threads said only chrome works. It takes between 1-7 hours for an upload to reach around 70% then it says fails to upload.

then I added a support query in their forum but got no answer.

not sure how to proceed from here.

maybe I’ll just use youtube and protect the page

any thoughts?

the long term costs is what I was not clear on –

definitely I’ll go with S3.

two followups

1. does S3 accept .avi files? Ive been trying to upload an avi movie but it keeps failing. What file type do you suggest? avi is half the size of mp4 so that’s why I was thinking it is quicker to download, and the quality is still decent.

2. can you recommend an encryption software for movies (eg, avi, mp4, mov) so when it is downloaded it cant be mass produced or played on other’s computers – etc. something like that.

I’ve now easily created a paypal buy now button.

If a customer clicks the buy now button for a product on the squeeze page, it takes them to paypal to make the payment. Does it also put their name/email in the autoresponder system?

If I just use the [wp_eStore_free_download_squeeze_form id=5] code it will store their info and send them to a download page; but not let them pay.

How to achieve both at the same time? Thanks

Thanks. I set up a product page and pasted the shortcode on the squeeze page.

However instead of the download button I need a buy button (to paypal).

After the payment is made, they would receive the email with the download link.

How can I set this up?
