Well, that makes complete sense. I created the page with the eMember registration short code, but I must not have changed the link to it. Color me embarrassed. Lucky for me, you guys are so awesome at answering your support questions so quickly. Thanks again!

I’m not sure what’s going on. I bought eMember on the 9th. The only user I see in the eMember dashboard is a Basic test user I created on the 11th. There were none created between the 9th and 11th, but 2 signed up on the 16th and they only show on the Affiliates list, not the eMember list.

March 16, 2011 at 9:40 pm in reply to: Changing affiliate commissions depending on membership level with eMember? #30240sparklogixMemberIs a bridging plugin complicated to do? It would be fantastic to have something like that.
On a semi-similar note, we currently have 4 affiliate/membership levels: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Basic (Free).
Today, we had 2 people signup as Basic members to test it out. In the dashboard, both of those are listed in the Affiliates menu, but not showing in the eMember menu, which shows the level. Is there a reason that it’s not putting the data in the eMember section of the dashboard?
Thanks!
sparklogixMemberYou are amazing! Thank you so much
sparklogixMemberThe client is wondering if we can change it to 7?
sparklogixMemberSo I’ve been thinking more about this because my client REALLY wants this capability. I was wondering if there is a line of PHP that calls the affiliate ID that I could use to plug in to a URL elsewhere on the site, that way the ID would be added to whatever links I need it to be on.
Is something like that possible? Thanks!
sparklogixMemberThanks.
BTW, I really appreciate how quickly you’ve been answering all my questions. Makes me feel very confident in your product and in you. Again, thanks
sparklogixMemberNot a problem, thanks
sparklogixMemberOkay, so all looks great and I purchased the eMember. Looking back through this thread, and browsing through the documentation, I realized when I couldn’t find options to input payment amounts for each level, that I need to create these payment buttons through PayPal, correct? Is that the only way to accept payment, not through Authorize.net or anything like that?
Thanks again.
sparklogixMemberOkay, then could I just hide the product pages unless an affiliate is logged in?
sparklogixMemberCouple more questions:
1) With eMember, is it possible to allow discounts upon signup depending on the length of time they register for (ex: $40/month; $200/6 months; $350/year)?
2) Is it possible to show the items in the store at the full retail price to non-logged in users, and then once they log in the can see the discounted price for logged in affiliates?
Thanks!
sparklogixMemberThis definitely looks like it would work for this project. I went back to double check with the clients and it looks like they may all have the same pricing available to all levels. The reason the affiliates need to pay to register is because they are paying to get the products at a discounted rate (like a wholesale club) but will receive higher commissions (depending on affiliate level) for bringing in new members who make purchases as well. So it sounds like integrating eMember is definitely the solution we need (I hope).
