Oh my gosh, you must be so tired of hearing from me. I’m so sorry!
I was wondering if there’s a way to automatically change the affiliate commissions depending on what level they register as?
Ex: John signs up as a Gold level affiliate. His account is created and he is assigned a commission rate of 25%. Had he signed up as a Silver level affiliate, his rate would have been created at a 10% commission rate.
It would be fantastic to not have to go into each affiliate separately and adjust their rate after the sign up.
Thanks!

I can maybe create a bridging plugin like the eStore extra shortcodes plugin to tackle this.
March 16, 2011 at 9:40 pm #30240sparklogixMemberIs a bridging plugin complicated to do? It would be fantastic to have something like that.
On a semi-similar note, we currently have 4 affiliate/membership levels: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Basic (Free).
Today, we had 2 people signup as Basic members to test it out. In the dashboard, both of those are listed in the Affiliates menu, but not showing in the eMember menu, which shows the level. Is there a reason that it’s not putting the data in the eMember section of the dashboard?
Thanks!

March 17, 2011 at 11:26 pm #30244sparklogixMemberHere’s the registration page. It has links to the paid and non-paid memberships.
I’m not sure what’s going on. I bought eMember on the 9th. The only user I see in the eMember dashboard is a Basic test user I created on the 11th. There were none created between the 9th and 11th, but 2 signed up on the 16th and they only show on the Affiliates list, not the eMember list.
March 17, 2011 at 11:55 pm #30245amin007ParticipantI clicked on the register button for the basic and it takes me to the registration page of the affiliate plugin! Why does the registration page take me to the affiliate’s registration page? How will the affiliate plugin create eMember’s account?
If you are integrating the affiliate platform via the eMember then that means you should be using eMember’s registration page. If you have checked the “Automatically Create Affiliate Account” option in eMember’s settings then the eMember plugin will create an affiliate account for the member when they signup. If I understand correctly your affiliate will signup by becoming a member so you only ever need to send them to the eMember’s registration page.
Please go over your registration flow again… you seem to have mixed them up.
March 18, 2011 at 2:41 am #30246sparklogixMemberWell, that makes complete sense. I created the page with the eMember registration short code, but I must not have changed the link to it. Color me embarrassed. Lucky for me, you guys are so awesome at answering your support questions so quickly. Thanks again!
April 14, 2011 at 4:36 pm #30247sparklogixMemberJust wondering if you’ve gotten to the issue of creating commission rates based on the membership level yet? Or if you had done a bridging plugin yet, like you had mentioned. Thanks
April 15, 2011 at 12:34 am #30248amin007ParticipantHaven’t done this yet.
April 16, 2011 at 2:43 am #30249sparklogixMemberNo problem, just checking
