Correcting the relay response URL fixed it.
SDesignMemberDid that and it passed over to Authorize, but after payment, I get the following error:
“An error occurred while trying to report this transaction to the merchant. An e-mail has been sent to the merchant informing them of the error. The following is the result of the attempt to charge your credit card.
This transaction has been approved.
It is advisable for you to contact the merchant to verify that you will receive the product or service.”
Please note:
1. Relay response at Authorize.net is: [http://theclientwebsite.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/eStore_auth_ipn.php]
2. Receipt URL matches in Authorize.net and in WP eStore setting.
3. Debug on and there are no errors in the Debug log.
What should the “Receipt Method” at Authorize.net be? Link, Get, or Post? ** Update: I tried all three and get the same error.**
BTW, the credit card was charged each time I tested and got the error and the transactions appeared in Authorize.net account, which I then voided. I also got the order confirmation from Authorize.net, but nothing from WP eStore, either as a customer or merchant.
Any further suggestions for getting this to work?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
SDesignMemberI would just like to follow up again and say that I am still very interested in the addition of “PayPal Payment Advanced” to the Gateway Bundle. I have a couple clients that could use and would prefer this option if available.
Another payment option I saw mentioned in another post that would also be very handy is the “checkout by Amazon” option. It interfaces with the shopping cart and allows a user to use their Amazon account to checkout.
Any updates from Admin on ETA of the “PayPal Payment Advanced” addition would be greatly appreciated.
SDesignMemberYes, I saw that you support PayPal Pro with the gateway bundle. I also appreciate thoughts on the abandoned cart topic.
It is nice to hear that you will be adding this new functionality as well. What is the ETA for adding “PayPal Payment Advanced” to the gateway bundle?
SDesignMemberThanks for the confirmation on use of the “Google Analytics For WordPress” plugin. It tracks nicely when someone pays via a PayPal account, but when they uses their credit card instead within the PayPal interface/system, the sale is not tracked in Google e-commerce. Perhaps it is due to the reason noted below.
I also noticed when doing testing that PayPal does not automatically redirect a Credit Card sale back to the site like it does when a purchase is made with a PayPal account. When purchasing with a credit card, it hangs on the PayPal completed order page unless the user clicks the return to site link. When a user pays with a PayPal account the redirect works properly adn is tracked in Google e-commerce.
Is this a know issue?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Running WordPress 3.3.1
WP eStore v 6.5.3
SDesignMemberThanks for the explanation. Any thoughts on the error produced when saving the page with the “[wp_eStore_on_page_manual_gateway_form]” in it?
“Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/myUser/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/eStore_manual_gateway_functions.php: in /home/myUser/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 934″
Again, I get this when saving the newly created page with the short code in it. Oddly, the page saves (just not normally) and can be accessed by WP eStore once I add the page link to the gateway page. The initial error concerns me though.
SDesignMemberI just updated the plug-in and adding the manual checkout to a WordPress page does not function properly on my site. Running in the Genesis Framework: Version: 1.7.1. http://www.studiopress.com/
I create a new page that is full width (one column) as to allow the manual checkout from to fit widthwise, then I place “[wp_eStore_on_page_manual_gateway_form]” into the page. When the page is saved, rather than saving the page, WordPress loads mydomain.com/wp-admin/post.php and shows the left column of the Manual checkout form and the page ends with this error.
“Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/myUser/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/eStore_manual_gateway_functions.php: in /home/myUser/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 934″
I then navigate away and proceed to adding the newly created page URL to the Setting/Payment Gateway section, it redirects to the new page fine, but it is missing the right hand column. In other words, is does not show the products and total of order, only the place to enter name etc. Must have something to do with the error when saving.
Tried deleting page and doing the whole process again and get the same results.
Running the latest: WP eStore v 6.1.2 in WordPress 3.2.1
Thoughts?
SDesignMemberFantastic addition, but I do not see this option in WP eStore/Settings/Payment Gateway Settings manual checkout area. Currently using Version v5.9.9.3. Perhaps there is a newer version. Is it a paid upgrade? Let me know.
October 26, 2011 at 4:27 am in reply to: IPN sent to the plugin (example, WP eStore) are failing #18232SDesignMemberEverything is working now!
Not sure what happened, but you were correct, PDT got turned off in PayPal, even though it was on yesterday. So, now the redirect works properly without error and the cart is now empty on return as well. BTW, I had a bad [ on the “thank you” page preventing the order data from filling in properly.
Thank you so much for your nearly instant responses! I will certainly be purchasing additional copies and using your WP eStore cart plug-in on others sites in the future.
**Please remove the test product URL above**
Thanks again,
SDesign
October 26, 2011 at 3:09 am in reply to: IPN sent to the plugin (example, WP eStore) are failing #18229SDesignMemberSame result using a test product priced at $0.01. I make the purchase and PayPal process it. I then have to click the “Return to Merchant” button, it does not auto redirect to the site.
After “Return to Merchant” is pressed the “You Made a Payment” PayPal page appears and then redirects after about 5-10 seconds only after popping an alert:
“Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party. Are you sure you want to continue sending this information?”
This has to be cleared “continue” before the forward will happen.
I then land on the thank you page with no information about the purchase filled in with [wp_eStore_transaction_result:end] appearing below the thank you message on the page.
Both the customer and and merchant emails are sent from eStore and PayPal, but no information is filled in on the thank you page and the shopping cart still does not clear when returned to the site. The initial product is still in the cart when customer lands on the Thank You page. Tested in Mac Safari 5.1.1 and Mac Firefox 7.0.1 both produce the same result.
Link to page with (0.01) test product, **please remove after you access it**:

BTW, I have disabled Sandbox for the moment, let me know if you need Sandbox turned back on.
FWIW, I also upgraded from the simple shopping cart by disabling the plugin then installing the WP eStore if that matters. Not sure if that would cause any issues, but thought I would mention it.
