That’s great news! Thanks!
April 7, 2012 at 6:54 pm in reply to: Payment verification failed for missing product ID (which isn't really missing) #43818realityshifterMemberHi,
Thanks for your reply. We haven’t made any changes to our site or added any plugins or anything like that and we haven’t changed our PayPal account since we first configured it, so I checked with our hosting company today but they said they haven’t made any changes either. What should I do next to find out what is causing the problem?
The problem doesn’t make much sense to me because we’ve had a few customers order the same item (product ID #6) during the past day after the problem first started happening. So, it seems like sometimes the eStore recognizes that there’s a product with the ID of 6 and sometimes it doesn’t. What else could cause that to happen?
Thanks again!

March 25, 2012 at 1:02 pm in reply to: The store is writing huge files to the server for each order #43378realityshifterMemberSorry, just to clarify my previous message…
The files are not showing up in the eStore plugin directory, they’re showing up in the directory where WordPress and eStore are running. (i.e., http://www.OurDomain.com/shop)
Thanks
January 19, 2012 at 7:45 pm in reply to: Product names not displaying properly on transaction results page or in emails #40901realityshifterMemberThank you! That fixed the problem and now the product names are displayed in Japanese on the transaction results page.
Thanks again for your help!
January 19, 2012 at 3:23 am in reply to: Product names not displaying properly on transaction results page or in emails #40899realityshifterMemberI’m using WordPress version 3.3.1.
I think my eStore version is v5.7.3. (That’s the version number that’s listed next to the eStore plugin on the Plugins page in my WordPress dashboard.)
January 18, 2012 at 4:09 am in reply to: Product names not displaying properly on transaction results page or in emails #40897realityshifterMemberHere is an update regarding this problem:
I logged into our PayPal account and checked the language settings. I made sure the default language is Japanese and the language encoding is set for UTF-8. This fixed half the problem. The product names are now displayed correctly in the email the customer receives. But, the product names still won’t display properly on the transaction results page (the “Thank You” page the customers return to after the payment is complete). Is there another setting I need to change somewhere to make the names display correctly on that page?
realityshifterMemberI’d also like to get the latest version of the e-store plugin if possible. I’m not sure if I need to send specific details to confirm my purchase or if you can verify it by using my email address. Please let me know if any additional info is needed.

realityshifterMemberHi,
I use a free plugin called “Widget Logic” that lets you indicate which widgets should show up on which pages. I have some of my widgets configured to show up only on the home page, another widget that shows up only on the contact page, etc. I’m not sure if it would work for the shopping cart widget but it might be worth looking into.
