    Hi,

I installed the eStore this week and we tested it today. Everything seems to be working wonderfully except for one problem. In the body of the emails sent to the customers, there are slashes appearing in front of every apostrophe.

For example, in our email message it says: “please don’t hesitate to contact us”

But in the customer’s email, it shows up like this: “please don’t hesitate to contact us”

I noticed in the WP eStore menu in the WordPress Dashboard, the slashes are added to the text in the Buyer Email Body area every time we visit the General Settings section. It adds more slashes every time, so the text says “don’t” at first and then the next time it says “don\’t” and then “don\’t”, and it just keeps growing. If I delete the slashes from the text and click the “Update Options” button, the slashes go away but they don’t stay gone. They appear in the emails to the customers each time, and they show up in the Buyer Email Body area again the next time we visit the General Settings section.

Is there a stripslashes function that needs to be added somewhere to make this stop happening? We want to make sure our emails to the customers look professional.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Sent you an updated version which should take care of this apostrophy issue.

I installed the updated version and it looks like that fixed the problem.

    Thanks again!
